What I consider negative as a Pisces Moon for example, might be positive for you.

So here is my pov. based on what you give us.
He must be intellectual definately, needs mental stimulation (Gemini Moon and Virgo Mercury).
I don't think he is trustworthy and I don't think he has many layers for you to pass tbh.

Air Moon, earthy Venus and Mars.. His heart desires different things than his Venus and Mars do. So there is a confict.. This with his earthy exalted Mars in Cap (damn that Mars, I wish I had it myself) make me think he is the cheater type. Capricorn Mars men (I know very few though) are too physical.

Venus in Virgo will show love practically and want to be loved the same way..
Aspects and house placements may make a huge difference. Also if you have a fiery/airy Moon you won't feel as I do with airy Moons. You should post your charts.

Are you 100% certain he's not got a Libra Venus?

I'll give my take based on the info we have; he's got a masculine trinity (Leo sun, Libra asc, Gemini moon).
Emotionally fed by feedback, conversation, being social, knowledge. He likes to chat obviously, and wants you to share information with him, and he likes to learn.

The rising indicates there really is a side to him you don't know, and he's probably a bit afraid to let you get too close, for fear you and/or others might judge him. Socially, Libra risings have a hyper contrasted part of themselves that is not too evident, so what that is will take time to suss out. Trust will develop over time. That Capricorn Mars (imo) is a good sign, and often adds a layer of seriousness. Some might not think it a very "warm" placement, but, so long as dedication shines through, that can mean a lot.
The Leo sun points to someone who, on the inside, is very generous, romantic, and so long as his Leonian traits are well honed, someone who is quite brave and willing to fight for what he wants and loves.

Virgo Venus, yes, shows love through service and practical ways. He'll also be receptive to you doing practical, helpful things for him. Mercury in Virgo is the mind and communication, so he's quite analytical and will likely mull over what you do and/or say. So, he'll need some time to think things through to get an accurate assessment. Mercury Virgo can also be quick witted and come across as sarcastic. Virgo Venus (and Merc), the flirtatiousness has an "innocent" quality like a little kid. If they talk about sex and sexual organs it can even come across as a kid saying "omg look a peen! teehee" (not that he'll say it like that) so sometimes it can confuse others as if it's someone who's being overtly sexual, when really, it might just be him talking about something as an innocent kid would.
They can also be quite coy. But with the extroverted, social masculine trio, this part could be subdued.

Venus on MC also shows a lot of outward displays of affection. Its minor aspects to Moon, Jupiter, Saturn are helpful. My only concern is your Neptune conjunct Asc square Venus which shows a lot of illusory - you sometimes ain't sure where you're going as a couple... a lot of projections/ideal images of each other.. and when the fog clears, you might get hurt & disappointed (esp. Chiron is also squaring Venus).
