I was in a dead-end situation with a Venus in Aquarius. I made the decision to end things and go it alone.

Within days my attention shifted to this Gemini. He is stoic, unapproachable, quiet. I insisted on conversation, I insisted on getting him involved, I insisted. Slowly, he was opening up to me.

Right then a Moon in Leo individual swooped in and captured my imagination. From then til now I'm 100% invested in the outcome of me and Moon in Leo.

However, there is a creeping sense of guilt, that I cannot shake, regarding the way I shifted focus away from Gemini. True, I've primarily considered the Gemini a friend, but there was always flirtation in the background. Don't know if the door is still open, but I'm tempted to ask his relationship status and hope the answer is "coupled" so I may sleep better.

Part of my worries is that someone mentioned how forlorn he looked*. He's recently been positioning himself in a way that I can see him, or he can see me. I used to steal glimpses of him all the time.

Knowflakes, was this Gemini interested in me, or were we just friends?

I'd say Gemini might be testing the waters right now. If he shows some level of curiosity in you or try to put some effort into figuring you out..then yes.
