For instance, how influential could a Sagittarius Descendant be if one had an unaspected Scorpio Moon?

depends on the entire chart

i do know a commitment phobic gemini rising (she was married at one point, but she also cheated for a long time within that relationship and regularly wanted out it was a had kids young marriage), but she's also an aquarius moon, mercury, mars, and sun with an aries venus so i wouldn't exactly judge based on her

That's interesting...

My older sister is a cap sun, gemini asc, scorpio moon.

Her first serious relationship was with a sweet and simple pisces and they were always on and off.

Then she met a sag sun male..boom!!! she had her first child

In otherwords he knocked her up and they got married..two more kids followed afterwards for a total of three.

After having three kids and being forced to purchase a home in the burbs with the white picket fence in Oshawa(Leo-Cancer 98 should be familar with the GTA)..there is no way she can back out of a commitment now.

How is your Pisces Venus aspected? How is your sisters’ Scorpio Venus aspected?

NOT TRUUUUEEEEE.....!!

I don't easily or quickly commit to someone but when I do, I'm very committed. Gemini rising can come across very flirty but doesn't mean we will cheat. I've never cheated in my life.

Taurus Sun
Sag Moon
Gemini Venus (ya, I know...)

Nope. When it comes to commitment phobia, Aquarius/Pisces energy comes to my mind.

Um.... Yes 😂 😂 but I also have venus exactly in the middle of the 12th house opposite saturn, nn exactly on my ascendant, AND uranus in the 7th conjunct my descendant/south node so I'm guessing it's not just the gemini rising lol. Damn if I don't constantly find myself with one foot out the door ready to run. Pretty sure I'm not meant to be tied down in this lifetime. The thought of being a housewife gives me nightmares!

But to add to that, I've never cheated on anyone and have quite a load more integrity than most people I've met.

How would you differentiate your nodes from the rest of those placements?

NN on the ascendant has a heavy focus on finding yourself, by yourself, instead of relying on relationships.

Right, my question is how you personally feel about it. About your South Node specifically. Can you differentiate it playing out? And how do you view relationships from that standpoint?

And can you ever see yourself being in one?

Would the same concept apply if one had their Sun (Aries), Mercury, Jupiter (Aries) and North Node (Aries) in the 1st House? Even if they had a Libra Moon in the 7th House?

Do you think it could be due to having Virgo on the 5th House cusp?

I agree. The whole chart must be looked at.

If Jupiter is in aspect with Uranus for instance.Or in aspect with Venus or Sun/Moon, then there might be a heightened preference to keep things "open-ended"

If Jupiter is in the 5th house for Gem rising. Or Jupiter in aspect to Venus, I suspect there might be great joy in being in a "committed" set-up (as Venus rules the 5th house of romance/pleasure for Gemini Asc and Jupiter rules the 7th house of partnerships).

My little sister has Gem rising with ruler of the 5th(Venus) in 5th. So she enjoys dating etc. But Venus is in Scorpio and Scorpio Venus therefore is ruled by Pluto in 6th.

This plays out with her as if she had Venus in 6th i.e her lovelife(Venus) is tumultuous(Scorpio) and quite a challenge for her since its in her 6th.

So for people who have Venus(planet of relationships) in 6th, love or partnerships can be a painful Achilles heel

My sister has Scorpio themes in her love life i.e controlling behaviour by partners, a tendency to confuse drama with "depth". Good, straightforward guys don't 'do it' for her.She likes "bad boys".

Add to that Jupiter(ruler of the 7th) is in Scorpio & also in the 6th house. So this emphasizes the difficulty in the love life. And though there is no aspect between Venus and Jupiter, they are joined by a sign(Scorpio).

She is not "commitmentphobic" per se, she enjoys dating and being in a relationship. But due to the drama she gets herself into or finds herself in,she is weary most times

I've always thought people get entirely too lost or obsessed in relationships. All I see on Facebook are girls wanting to hurry up and get married. I don't understand it at all. I'm not against being in a serious relationship or married, I just truly believe too many people aren't aware of their selves well enough to make that kind of decision. I can see myself being married one day, but not losing my autonomy. That I consider to be my sn on the descendant. My planetary placements just color how I go about it and who I'd be willing to do that with.

Possibly, that's a lot of energy in the 1st house and with the moon in the 7th I'd say that you're going to be learning quite a lot about yourself and how you relate to those those planets in relationships. You may also attract people who can offer emotional support to discovering yourself.

Gotcha. That helps, thanks.

I agree I know a Taurus sun girl with Gemini AC, Scorp Moon and she is totally loyal and trad but quirky with Uray in 1st. She was an independent career woman until circumstances and marriage forced her to give up work. But as caring for her kids felt like her profession (former children’s nurse) she was ok with being a mom, which was her husband’s idea. She gave a lot up for her guy. Home country, proximity to family, career...

So perhaps the Taurus sun is stronger than the Gemini AC influence ?

I do know a Pisces with Gem AC who cheated on his wife towards the end of a 16 year rel’ship.

Apparently it was because she couldn’t have kids (which he wanted) and because for 2 years she was arriving with a clock to consummate only at those key times. So he lost interest because it became about intent focus on the impossible and all spontaneity had gone out the window. He informed her a week later saying : he just didn’t love her anymore.
Hé didnt leave her « for » another. I guess he needed to be single again.
From what I gather that was the first and only problem they had (trying for kids and being heavy about it)
but hence there was no staying power to deal with problems as they had no experience with any together (and probably no sticky Saturn either) to bind them when the chips were down.

Where does Gemini being the "cheater" sign come from? Honestly sounds like nonsense. Everyone can be a cheater
