Yeah. That makes sense.Uranus is the natural ruler of the 11th house. So this "reunion" is actually also a new beginning-which Uranus represents.

But you two have to start from scratch and get to know each other all over again.The dynamics of your friendship now have since changed. Its not like a Mercury transit where we can simply pick up where we left off etc. Its like you two are meeting each other for the 1st time.

Transiting Uranus is currently contra-parralel Saturn(in my 7th and conjunct Venus). I don't know if its also responsible for old folks I knew way back when, that I am running into now?

But what I feel is as I have described. I tried to pick things up from where they last were, but its not the same. They are NOT the same. And this is the assumption that we have when reuniting with old friends.

Saturn is the co-ruler of my 11th house too(Aqua 11th).

I also had two pronounced experiences with women. One was very disappointing, a falling out with a friend who apparently felt shelved because I was getting acquainted with her while falling in love with someone else. We parted on bad terms. I had to work to forgive her. The love interest was unrequited. I should point out I experienced this transit simultaneous with Pluto being opposite natal Venus, which is a good example of two things: (a) why others' experieces should not be taken in any way as predictive of your own, and (b) that the whole transit picture has to be taken into account.

In late august, tVenus were moving across my 11th and Jupiter were transiting my 9th as well as conjuncting nVenus later that year, me and 2 friends left our country to work abroad for aprox 6 months.

I think I had this around the same time that you did, only I wasn't attending concerts (I wish that I had been!). I'm going to have to check transits later, but my Moon/Venus are right at the beginning of Gemini, so the trine would have been when Uranus entered Aquarius. It was also square my Uranus/ascendant...

*edit. Oh, I must have been thinking of Neptune. Uranus entered Aquarius in 1996, when I was first on the internet. I remember using one of those AOL CDs on New Year's Eve 1995, to sign on for the first time. I found English people, living in the NE part of this State, like me, thanks to AOL's international cafe boards. Met people through a penpal list.

I was also immersed in art studies, but Uranus was in my third house, and expanding my horizons communication-wise, and locally. A guy that I'm currently friends with on facebook, hit on me after finding me through AOL's profile search. We lived in the same area, and he was looking for a girlfriend (he's a Libra). He met his wife soon after that. I don't know if he found her the same way, or through his work as a photographer, but they have been together this entire time, and have three little girls.
