Sometimes I honestly wonder if its best to put the astrology down. That sometimes you can become a bit too fatalistic. For example... you find yourself flirting with someone, there's transits in *your* chart that indicate it might be going somewhere, but there's a complete lack of transits indicating anything romantic happening anytime soon in *theirs*?
You know, kind of like...
YOU: Mars about to go conjunct with Jupiter in your 5th house.
THEM: Venus is going conjunct to Uranus, but in their 4th house (so... moving house? Redecorating?) and Mars is maybe in their 7th too but won't aspect anything until it's well into their 9th?
If there's no "romantic breakthrough" transits for the person you want to date, doesn't that suggest it's a lost cause? Because, after all, nothing romantic is on their astro-schedule?
Admittedly this is worse looking at sun-sign horoscopes, and I know what kind of a reputation they have here ;-) But, even at a natal chart level, you can talk yourself out of asking someone out or even showing any interest because you can think your chart isn't putting you (or them) in a romantically opportune place right now. So you think "save your breath"...
...even though said person is flirting with you like crazy.
