Yup and nope

With these sort of posts you will have a lot of people saying ' My Dad has this and he has been married to my Mother for 30 years and he's faithful ' ... because obviously Astrology only contributes to so much of peoples actions, there are always other factors involved too.

BUT in my OWN experience, every male I have encountered whether it's a friend, relative, lover etc. wasn't faithful.

Infact I knew of a Scorpio man who was having an affair on his Leo wife with his Scorpio mistress. (His moon In Leo squared his Scorpio Venus!) And not only that, with sex workers too.

I rethought this post and realized that I lived with someone with Venus/Moon opposition.

I think the person with the challenging aspect between the two tends to date people(Venus) who are far removed from what feels familiar(Moon).

Being attracted to someone of a differing cultural background, different social mores or values etc. that are not familiar to one is often the result.

This could be someone who dates outside their religious upbringing ,social group or class background etc as. there is an unconscious need to shock(opposition) oneself out of ones own comfort zone(Moon)through relationships(Venus)

They don't like things to get too easy or may not be comfortable with perpetual cohabitation. The partner must still thrill them & not make them too comfortable.

This was the case with my flatmate. The minute he bedded the guy, it lost its appeal. The minute he "figured" the guy out, it lost its appeal. The thrill was gone.

His Moon in Aries loved the chase and Venus in Lib would seduce. But since the two are in opposition, he liked to have the mate keep him on his toes. If they are unpredictable and a little unnerving, the better.

Domestic (Moon) harmony(Venus) is not the aim here. It's the tension between the two(opposition) that speaks volumes. Its whats familiar to them. The two can only coexist as an opposition.Always.

I know a guy who has this and he has never truly been faithful. I do not think he is mature enough to maintain a commitment to any one relationship and in fact he even struggles to remain committed to one job. It's too "confining" for him.

As was mentioned here he is attracted to women who come from a different background than himself and more often than not to women who are much older than him. He has Venus in Capricorn, so the older women thing makes sense.

The older women thing is probably due to the Venus ok Capricorn.

Aren’t you in a monogamous relationship with your fiancée?

I wonder if it would make a difference if the person has Venus sextile Saturn and Moon contraparellel Saturn.

only if sharing other people counts as monogamy, we've been talking on/off about finding a new friend with benefits or another third person since we enjoy that dynamic

Yeah you also have Venus/Uranus which has something to do with that.

yeah that too, uranus does a lot of **** in my chart

i'm very upfront with people about my situation though, i've never started anything with anyone under the pretense that they'd be the only one or anything like that and new people always know my fiancee comes first

regardless of how i feel about them i made promises and commitments to her that will always outweigh that
