Topic: Is Uranus in the 7th House similar to having an Aquarius Descendant?

I was reading things about having Uranus in the 7th house. Some of it I can relate to but I don't have Uranus in the 7th house. I do however have an Aquarius Descendant. So I'm guessing that it's simliar? IP: Logged |

In a way yes.
However an aspect or a house placement has a greater impact than the planet/house in a sign has. I have Capricorn in 7th H and although I have the Cap DSC traits, Uranus conjuncting it has a greater impact on me, same does my NN in there.
Aqua DSC is a lighter version of Uranus in the 7th H. Also I feel that the planet kind of forces its energy in any house it's in (especially the outer planets) no matter how much you try to avoid/handle it. The sign by itself doesn't do that. IP: Logged |

I think it's worse.
I have Rx Uranus in 7th and Uranus within of 2° Orb from Dsc. Expecting for Unexpected things to happen in life.  ------------------

This is what Aries23Degrees had to say about this placement.
So the Aqua Dsc ime are more likely to do same-sex coupling,polygamy,cross-cultural relations or long distance etc.(especially if Venus/Moon are supportive) as they are more open and experimental than most. Aqua ime tends to treasure more the mental connection first before anything else and is less preoccupied with anatomy or skin colour/background.
Should they find a connection, they are incredibly loyal. This is because it aint no walk in the park to find a mate that is compatible or a mate who understands them(and they know this). So when they do,they can be surprisingly demonstrative and passionate(Uranus is full of the unexpected). Romance tends to have more meaning for them as they endeavor to make the partners life thrilling. And it usually is. It usually is.... No, not really, because Uranus there cannot lend the qualities of Leo to your rising sign. It simply indicates that your relationships have a 'higher mind' factor at work in them that can mean surprises, expect the unexpected, and some friends and/or partners detaching for more freedom if things get too thick.Signs refer to planets as their core principles, not the other way around. ------------------

Planets in the 7th also suggest the kind of person you're attracted to and who you attract. Uranus gets a really negative spin and it's not always deserved. I've had long serious relationships that weren't crazy like that but I do get bored with stagnant relationships. My descendant is in sagittarius with sn exactly on it. Uranus is 6° away from them. I do look for and want someone who isn't "the status quo" and I like quirky people. IP: Logged |

Ok so what kind of relationships do people with an Aquarius Descendant tend to want? I like weird or eccentric people. But that could also be because I have Venus/Uranus.

Free and spontaneous encounters. But the question should not be posed under the unstated assumption that only Uranus is in the 7th. A person can have other planets there, even Saturn. So in that example interpretation of Uranus there cannot be genuine if it is mutually exclusive to the meaning of Saturn's presence in the 7th. ------------------

I have Aqua descendant/ Venus quincunx Uranus and Uranus in 5th house. I do want a lot of freedom and on my terms 🙂 but don’t like the concept of a polyamory. I’d rather have a committed monogamous relationship that might have an unsualness to it ie. Keeping it private for a while and separated from friends and family/ not seeing each other every day but often enough/ dating odd or forgein people/ attracted to on and off situations (for some reason this makes me feel more comforted). Being a friend first is definitely a plus. And spontaneity helps. I have some contradicting aspects to those like Taurus mars and Leo Venus that probably makes me like a committed relationship. Don’t know if this helps you at all haha. I don’t think Aqua descendant is enough to say because there are so many other things that come into play. IP: Logged |

If I was in a committed relationship then no. I personally think that makes things complicated, but there is nothing wrong with it. You having moon in Aqua and Gemini Mars could be more open to this. Do you feel this way? Would you be okay with involving another person?

Husband has Uranus in 7H. He is a master of detaching and attaching (rinse and repeat) with people. He is loyal, physically, but mentally and verbally....expect the unexpected and deal with it..IP: Logged |
