He stared at me I result after asking me a question about what me and a guy was talking about. Our eyes locked and I almost didn’t answer or couldnt because I was so entranced. I’ve looked at him many times and he’s never locked eyes with me, he always looked away or waited for me to look away. This time, he didn’t flinch, I ended up looking away which felt like ages afterwards.

What did that mean? Was it a “you’re mine” “I like you” we are not dating. He made advances the day after meeting me, which I declined. I also told him I was guarded, since then he hasn’t made a move or asked me on a date, but does special things when I’m around. Sometimes I think it’s just friendship. But before this moment I defended him after I heard someone talking about him and he heard of it... we talked about it and that’s when the stare happened.

By the way I do like him, but I wasn’t interested in just sex which is why I declined in the beginning and I needed more time to know someone which I did tell him. I think this is why no moves will be made, but the tension is still there.

You'd have to ask him what he means, not just by his look. It could just mean he's comfortable/trusts you enough to make the eye contact...

I'm always very confused about the Scorpio stare! I'm very heavily Scorpio/Pluto and I dislike making eye contact generally unless I'm in a comfortable position with someone I know or I am trying to communicate to someone in public. Is it really so strong of a reaction to have us stare back/make solid eye contact?

I have Scorpio Mars and Scorpio rising and I stare but always look away when they look. Because I know I have an intensity to me already ... this is the first time I have ever locked eyes with someone that felt like eternity... like I couldn’t look away. Wasn’t weird for me either which is odd. I would like to move to the next step but being a woman I just can’t ask him out, just can’t. He shows interest but hasn’t taken the leap, so I have to just be patient and just hope. But that’s how the stare felt for me, almost like he entered another level of interest in me without words.

I don't think scorpios so much have a stare as much as that they radiate overall a certain intensity in how they project themselves to the world. Sometimes the intensity is very quiet though and not impressive but there none the less, other times is loud and vibrant. I guess it depends on whether the scorpio is more introverted or more extroverted Or on whether they have found their power YET and know how to channel it and express it.
