i think they balance me out in ways that are necessary, i admire the qualities they have that i don't and find them fascinating because they're different than me

lol in my case i don't find it annoying i find it more interesting than anything and helpful because when i talk to someone with a lot of water then i feel like i'm getting perspective that'd be lost on me otherwise and that makes it more valuable to me than someone who's too much like me

my fiancee is mostly water and fire as far as personal placements go (mercury and venus in scorpio, pisces mars, sag sun, aries moon, aquarius ascendant) earth void and well very little air but it's honestly why i value her opinions and thoughts because she sees things in a light i never would very often

while i could do without some of the emotional **** sometimes lol it's not something that i find particularly annoying most of the time (when it's directed at me in a negative manner or when she gets to too dark of a place and i feel like she's being unfair to herself then i'm not exactly thrilled with it)

i also have a water heavy friend that i talk about a lot of **** with because he tends to be very on point with his assessments of things and he takes a lot into account (he's a scorpio sun and mercury, pisces moon with a libra venus and sag mars im not sure of his ascendant) if i want an opinion on something i go to him or my pisces friend (pisces sun and mercury, aries ascendant/mars, aquarius venus, taurus moon) because like i said tend to respect their opinions more even if i disagree they always say things i haven't considered

i like pisces mercury a lot usually, it's earth mercuries i tend to have an issue with lol i find them a little annoying usually (not always) and i'm good at spotting earth mercuries because of that

i don't see them as overly sensitive, idk when they have feelings about something i can understand why usually

i don't think i really know anyone with a cancer mercury, my grandfather might have had one but i doubt it considering the way he was

he was a cancer sun but no one knew that until he was 80 and decided to tell everyone his actual birthday (he used to celebrate it in june because my grandmother and my uncle were both born a couple days apart, geminis) because he liked to make things up so for the most part no one really knew a lot about him and what was stories and what wasn't

he told me the most about himself out of everyone from what i know, but yeah leaning towards him not being a cancer mercury because he was way too into ******* with people and telling stories for that

scorpio mercury is actually my favorite based on people i've known, i like their sense of humor and i like how deep they tend to think on things

they can be a little obsessive and nit picky with details but i'm the opposite so i feel like that's something i really need in my life, and they're like that in a way that virgo mercuries aren't (i feel like virgo mercuries need too much information to have a conversation lol whereas scorpio mercuries tend to understand how vague and all over the place i can be because once they know me they'll get where i'm going)

i'm the type of person who will start a sentence, get distracted trail off and end up somewhere else so i need someone intuitive to help with that and virgo mercuries aren't intuitive like that it's usually them needing a million details for what could've been a 2 minute conversation instead (i'm aware i must annoy them too, i think the leo mercury being less detail oriented + neptune in the 3rd combination is probably frustrating for them throwing uranus in there too both in the 3rd and aspecting mercury doesn't help; typing makes it easier when i'm not writing it's much worse)

scorpio mercury is good at filling the **** i leave out in and understanding where i'm coming from when i have trouble figuring out how i'm feeling etc same with pisces mercury

i like fire mercuries usually, aries more than the others but all of them i'm generally ok with same with air (prefer aquarius but libra and gemini are both fine)

it's just earth mercuries i have an issue with, and out of them i think cap mercuries are better than the other 2, taurus mercury is probably my least favorite too though virgo isn't usually far behind (they're more willing to work with you through communication issues though so i can appreciate that about them)
