Hello
Could anyone give me some insight on Mars and Pluto in 8th house in natal chart. Mars and Pluto are in Scorpio in the 8th house. How would this play out an effect the person.

I recently met someone with this placement and they make me very uneasy, most likely becouse they have their Sun in my 8th house in synastry. Never met anyone that I am so unconfortable around before.

Would love to hear what you think of this placement.

You probably feel uncomfortable because the 8th house represents all those things that get our pulse racing or make us feel SOMETHING(even if that "something" is discomfort)

Mars ane Pluto are the natural rulers of Scorpio and are mitigated by the sign that they are placed in as wel as aspects to them

So wherever Scorpio,Mars or Scorpio is in the chart is where we tend to want to invigorate and brings things to life. At times we antagonize or irritate the complacent ones and then are met with violence(but that is the outcome of Pluto/Mars by default).

With Pluto, the rage is long and coming whilst with Mars, it is swift and immediate(barring placement and sign).

Unconsciously(or consciously) Scorpio people chase drama. Often mistaking "drama" for "being alive". And often there is the feeling of inspiration and vigour that they want.

As Elektra King(Scorpio Sun "Bond" girl Sophie Marceau)once said "What's the use of living. If you don't feel alive?" And this is an 8th house/Scorpio qoute.

So anything less than that is misinterpreted as "death". And the adrenalin of this emotional drama is perceived (fundamentally) as "LOVE".

Where we have Scorpio is where we can be thrill seekers(in the emotional sense). With Aries(its sister) its more in the physical sense. So Scorpio loves emotional drama and unconsciously seeks it.

When in the 8th, the thrill is sought through emotional closeness or ties of intimacy and not only sex,but things that bring one closer to "almost dying"(and this is what an orgasm really is essentially).

So breaking up then making out.Saying "I hate you" then making love. The pain of infidelity but then the passionate making up to renew fidelity. The up, the down, pulling back then pulling in.High drama!

Mars here (especially in Scorpio) will get into relationships that bring on intensity, complexity and even(for lack of a better word) "toxicity". It matters little really, as long as they feel the visceral "pulse" of love

Here there is a need to actively "chase"(Mars) excitement and to live on the edge". This is similar to someone who has Mars on the 7th house angle in that both these placements can irritate or make others around them uneasy on one hand. But also inspire and rejuvenate those around them on the other.

Risk taking or risk seeking(emotionally) is more pronounced when Mars is in Scorpio.Wearing ones intentions "out there" (whether or not they disturb others).

Thank you Aries23Degrees, that was very informative. This person probably is very well aware how uncomfortable they make me. They might even get a kick out of it haha.

And very comfortable with 8th house themes? What would they think about me planting my Pluto in their 8th house then?

It is good but is one small factor in an entire
synastry, which has hundreds, my Friend.
