I have moon in the 11th house and noticed friends always come and go out of my life. Either they outgrow the friendship or I do, but is it this placement that's causing me to never keep the same friends around. I only have like 3 friends I've been knowing for years who are like best friends but every one is never stick. Do anyone else with this placement go through the same issue? IP: Logged |

What sign is your Moon? If in changeable signs like Gem,Sag or Pisces, they will change. The Moon is ups and downs. Troughs and peaks. So when in Cancer, the changeability can be heightened. IP: Logged |

That isn't the meaning of Moon in 11th. Moon is receptive and if anything would create the opposite expectation.Look at Venus. People jump too quickly to read a chart categorically by houses. Venus is friendship. Look at its aspects. Look also at the aspects to your Asc/DC axis -- so long as you are certain that your Asc sign fits you by overall description and the degree can be verified correct (I mean astrologically, not according to a written record of birth time). Hard aspects to Asc could be involved (square, opposition, contra-parallel, conjunction, parallel, quincunx) involving Saturn or trans-personal planets (or others). Then look at the aspects with the Moon if you like. But Moon is more personal and says more about your internal life, relationship to mother, personal needs, etc. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

So 11th house is not house of friendships?

The House of the Moon shows things that mean a lot to you, so the 11th house subjects would mean a lot to your heart.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Absolutely.Taurus tends to be the same today, tomorrow and always. But be mindful that aspects from Mercury/Mars/ Uranus/Jupiter/Neptune/Pluto modify things. Moon/Neptune for instance could have one feel like they either don't have friends, feel distant from their friendship ties or that their friends live far away and are not easily accessible. Ironically, the individual may be popular and able to fit into many social circles. But they themselves may feel detached from all;often drifting from one group to another.Or identify with all and finding it hard to stick to any particular one IP: Logged |

My sister has Taurus Moon in the 11th house. She's always had friends since grade school, ones she still communicates on a regular basis with today. I, on the other hand, am more of a lone wolf and have always had a hard time making friends. I do have two very good friends since I was young, but I don't really communicate with them anymore except on special occasions. I have Venus in hard aspect to my Ascendant and Saturn, with Saturn residing in the 11th house.I remember when my sister was a Freshman in high school, she entered a new school where she didn't know anyone. It ruined her emotionally because she had zero friends for the entire school year and had to tag along with me so she wouldn't be alone. I used to wonder why it bothered her so much since I was so used to it, having Saturn in the 11th and Moon also in the 12th. Luckily for her, she met people in summer school and they became some of her closest buddies even today. After learning astrology, I now understand why it affected her so much. I would think Moon in the 11th house would have a harder time with the idea of *not* having friends since the 11th house revolves around people in general. IP: Logged |

It is a house of friendship, just as all houses of relationships can be (3rd, 7th, 11th) but relates more to group interests. Besides, having Moon in 11th suggests receptivity to others broadly and their shared interests, thus to friendship. quote: Originally posted by dribaby: ... I have my moon in Taurus 11th house, conjuncts mars. I have moon-venus square out of sign and i feel it very deeply (moon taurus-pisces venus)In 11th house I also have my very badly aspected chiron. (opposes saturn and squares mercury) I have really few friends and still I would not count on them. All my life I wanted to belong somewhere, to have friends for years. But people come and go, nobody stays for good and forever. I had to accept it, but it is still hard. I feel like someone left in this planet from another planet and i don't belong to here.IP: Logged |

Aww don't think like that. It bothers me sometimes that friends tend to come and go but it makes me appreciate the friends I do have that sticks around. Don't let it make you feel unloved, just appreciate the times you share with them, enjoy the moment and just respect that it's time to move on.
