Topic: How to tell the difference between Capricorn moon or Aquarius moon?

I guy Im currently interested has his moon at 2° Aquarius. But that’s without a birthtime. I wonder if it will change to Capricorn depending on his birthtime and now Im wondering how would I know? It seems Capricorn and Aquarius moon are seen as similar in ways.
Some people might say Aquarius moon is more social and Capricorn moon is more reserved. But I also have Aquarius moon and Im probably one of the least social people lol so I don’t know if I can go with that.
The other day he posted a video on his social media of him building this toy thingy (I think not sure what it was) I thought that was pretty Aquarius of him to be so into it and building it lol it was cute he looked like a child really into his toy. I notice he’s also into the Beatles, he went to a Paul Mccartney concert which I thought it was interesting considering he’s young. In that way I relate as a Aquarius moon myself because I like listening to music that isn’t the trend. But yet hes a Leo sun and seems quite reserved for a Leo? But at the same time he has a good amount of friends it seems. But I don’t know his chart is pretty hard for me to read. Im not used to looking into such a chart.
He has Capricorn mars so it’s like he can have some cap qualities too but how would I know it’s from the moon or from his mars? His chart seems pretty crazy too I wonder if I should run the other way lol
He’s a Leo sun and Mercury. I have almost no experience with Leos and to add that a possible Cap or Aqua moon? I can’t tell how he is. His moon also squares pluto! 😬 if he has Cap moon it wont be such a tight orb. gosh it’s scary because why does he have to be my ideal type appearance wise but have such a chart 😩
Anywho any way to tell if songs has a Capricorn moon or Aquarius moon? IP: Logged |

Honestly, it will be difficult to tell.Moon in aqua: they are concerned with being unique and different. Even if they pursue the route of marriage, a white picket fence and kids, there will be something unusual about their marriage or home life. They have a humanitarian streak and are rebellious. They are dreamers and very optimistic. Moon in capricorn: very serious, practical and traditional. They have a strong sense of duty and are very loyal to their loved ones. Be very careful if this gentleman has moon square pluto.....if you cross him, then you are doomed. I have this particular aspect and I have zero tolerance for disloyalty. I call it the "Godfather" aspect. They also tend to be very concerned about their career and social standing. They will not be seen in public with someone who embarrass them. IP: Logged |

I agree with what Astra said about Caps. I have a Cap Moon friend, she has no other Cap-Saturnian aspects or even earth (including her angular, 5th and 8th houses). She's very similar to the Cap Venus men I know. They are very practical, they may bring you food, or supplies that you might need, or offer to help you in any practical way they can. It's very obvious because it feels very natural for them to behave like that. Aqua Moons can look serious like Caps but there is a huge difference that I personally sense. Caps are serious with a very calming aura, you can sense their patience and stabillity from their body language. Aqua Moons on the other hand have no patience, I strongly sense their underlying nervousness, they don't gibe the feeling of someone you can rely on. Aquas blend well in groups of people while Caps prefer one to one.
Aquas seem more friendly and comfortable, Caps seem more strict and cold. Pnce you get to know them though the opposite applies. quote:

I have a Cap Moon sq Pluto (also Pluto sq Sun/Mercury) and I shall agree about the disloyalty part. I’ll go from being very loving and doting to complete ice in a second! I am less particular about what my partner does. Actually I couldn’t care less because I like to work hard for myself and making my own money. Don’t really care about social standing either as I’m very private about everything. When I splurge on something (which is often), I’ll tell no one. I also hardly ever talk about my work; outside work. I like to compete with myself and I always set small “mountains” to climb. Some don’t like me because I can be relentless in my pursuit for MY goal and finish line. I think they think I appear like a machine.. IP: Logged |

Dang it it’s hard to tell 😩I guess I would have to know him more. How to tell through their social media? LOL From his social media it looks like he’s into unique things so Im leaning towards Aquarius moon. His preference in music seems unique. He plays the guitar and seems make friends well. I can’t tell if he’s traditional or not though. He’s from a different culture than me so it’s hard to tell. ------------------

I don’t know .. as an Aquarius moon myself people always say Im patient and chill. Im non chalant and laid back. In fact my family says I take my time too much. Im not serious either, I laugh and joke around a lot. I may seem a loof though because I don’t talk much and I don’t really talk to others easily. And I dont like groups. I prefer to be alone or in small close comfortable groups (preferably people older than me) or one to one relationships. I guess Aqua moons are pretty unpredictable? I can vouch though for the need to be unique. We always gotta be unique and this guy kind of strikes me that way. But maybe it’s other things in his chart. IP: Logged |

Might be hard to tell, but a method I use has to do with separating the personality of the elements. Earth is Feminine and feminine moons can be more introverted, quiet, ~ masculine moons can be more extroverted, talkative, social etc. Depends on the house of course, and other aspects, but it usually doesn't fail me.
