Do you guys find that the qualities you show more to the world and when you interact with the world match more your AC and MC but when you are on your own, at home or interacting with those people you have that deeper intimacy with your IC and DC qualities show up more?How does that look like or play out for you? What does this mean about your shadow side in the context of the angles? is our shadow side our DC and IC in the context of angles? I mean I guess you can argue all placements and houses have a shadow side, right? What symbolizes our shadow side in astrology? Is it our moon, the 8th house, the 12th house or the IC? DC? or is everything in our chart have a shadow side and is more about been aware of all our different sides and what the shadow side of each part of us looks like and how it shows up in us? Actually, the world definitely sees my Descendant qualities. I'm a Taurus Sun, but my IC in Pisces isn't as visible. I think my IC is the only angle that's hidden to the world, and, in some cases, even the people closest to me. quote:

I feel like all the angles in my chart are part of my shadow side in some way. quote:

My shadow side is best represented by my Scorpio in 12th house, Pluto in 12th house conjunct my Ascendant in Scorpio, IC in Pisces, and Moon in Gemini in 8th house. There's more to my shadow than these placements, but in my opinion, my IC in Pisces has some of my worst shadow qualities. My IC in Pisces is made up of parts of my shadow that I actively reject and don't want others to see, which backfires at times, because they make me uncomfortable to the point they don't get an outlet anywhere and then these qualities slip through the cracks. The qualities I'm talking about are the qualities that I feel make me most unlovable so I never want anyone to see them, not even myself. Overall, I don't think there's a single placement that describes your shadow side. There are multiple pieces of your chart that make it up. IP: Logged |

The qualities I seem to show the world are Mars-Moo-Mercury To people who are close to me,I dissect stuff a lot and tend to criticize things I don't like for all to hear. This may seem juxtaposed to how i am on here.Here it comes off as "enthusiasm" & "zest" i.e less frightening. But i can be on a "life coach" tip when the mood strikes. Mars definitely dominates the external projection and "lights up" Moon and Mercury.If you live with me, you will get to see that because I can wash dishes, critique a show on Tv,lift weights(i have a home gym)& cook( all within a day) My Moon is conjunct the Ic and squares Mars.Home can be a source of tension(Pluto widely squares Ic too) when the energies are not used well.So i need to keep busy in the house or find activities outside to exhaust the energy. The "shadow" side part,I am not too sure of.I think it could be that I am oblivious to how i come across to others (Dsc)? I always deem myself to be calm.But it seems to most. the "calm" has some assertion therein. IP: Logged |
