What natal chart placements would indicate a good rock climber/boulder climber aka "indoor free climber"? My bf has taken me to an indoor rock climbing gym twice now and I've really gotten hooked on the sport.John Muir was a famous Yosemite climber who even had a trail in the famous park named after him and who also was known for being the first person to ever climb up a granite tower in Yosemite called Cathedral Peak in 1869. He was a Taurus sun born April 21st. Another extremely famous Taurus climber named Chris Sharma is a 38-year-old Taurus sun born April 23rd. I'm a Taurus sun born April 22nd and I am also Earth dominant with an Earth Grand Trine so I thought perhaps indoor climbing and eventually outdoor climbing might be something I would have some natural ability with since climbing is all about touching the EARTH. What other aspects besides having planets in Earth would make a good indoor/outdoor climber? I'm assuming planets in athletic Aries? IP: Logged |

I would imagine earth strong. It seems to be more being "productive"(getting to the "top").I imagine i would also like it.I love integrating exercise in something fun/natural and non-repetitive. Venus conjuncts my Saturn. My thinking is Cap energy.I watched B&B once( American soapie) and Bill Spencer(Don Diamont) was climbing a mountain. I thought it fitting since Don is Sun in Cap(28 Dec) and his character fits the Leo Sun/Cap Moon profile(his natal Mars is in Leo and that's the energy he gave the character) A local celebrity died mountain climbing(Kilimanjaro) and he had Sun in Cap. I think its an earth thing(But i would lean more on Cap energy being present). I see Taurus as the type to do hiking or bird watching.Nothing too physically straining(barring Mars in fire, Mars in fire house or in aspect to Pluto). IP: Logged |

I know you kind of specified indoor climber...but Alex Honnold - the extreme free solo climber, is the first person I thought of. I can barely watch the videos of him climbing! I think his Leo placements make sense, being that this is such risk-taking behavior. IP: Logged |
