I'm Gemini Rising with Mars in Gemini sextile Mars conj Asc.
I love intellectual conversation. I love sharing big ideas. Small talk is almost physically painful to me lol. One thing I notice is that, despite being well read and bright, I have a hard time adequately conveying ideas because my Mercury in Aries kind of goes haywire. What I mean is that I get too impatient with my own thoughts- my mind seems to work faster than my mouth- and eventually my thoughts get tangled and I have a hard time expressing them in a concise way. Details are hard for me to express. So, much as I love intellectual conversation, I have to say I'm not very good at it and I would flounder on a debate team or anything like it haha. IP: Logged |

Mercury in Aries, Moon/Venus in Gemini.I like any kind of interesting conversation. Sometimes it's nice to keep things light, other times, to delve in deeper. There are things that I want to talk about, but with the right people. IP: Logged |

I concur with this. Mercury in Aries, Mercury/Mars aspect love to engage in debates. Mars in Gemini typically loves discussions. I would even go as far as to say they don't mind when things get heated either. Most tend to openly oppose or disagree (sometimes without much diplomacy) i.e "that's rubbish"..."you are talking cr***" etc. In such cases, their passion can lead to them unintentionally offending others or seeming to be very "this is final" about their pov-often betraying the more detached approach Gem is known for. Mercury in Aries and Mars in Gem are in mutual reception-so they work similar to a conjunction between Mercury and Mars i.e the native will engage in heated debates whether you look to Aries Mercury or Mars in Gem. I have to be in the mood for a debate, and try to be polite, most of the time. Ever since conspiracy theories were used in the 2016 election, I have no patience for some of them, so I will say that they are crap (specific ones, like those spread by Alex Jones). When I think of the people who have been hurt and harassed, thanks to him (people already dealing with a heavy amount of trauma), it makes me livid. IP: Logged |
