Seriously, so many people have told me that they can't tell when I'm being serious or when I'm just joking. I think it's pretty obvious but apparently not. I can be very sarcastic and my sense of humore is pretty dry but, most of the time I have to say when I'm actually just kidding and it's caused some problems in relationships. My Merc is in Aries in the 12H opposite moon/Pluto. Is it the aries Merc or the 12H causing that?

Yeah I would say its because of your Mercury in Aries in the 12th house. Mercury in Aries has a clear mind so its hard for them to relate sometimes to other people. But yours is also in the 12th house so you keep your mind to yourself. Many times people want to know what you are thinking but they cant because you are a private person. But it doesn't look like you want to be alone because you have ascendant in Gemini but its conjunct Chiron. So you may have some insecurities about your intelligence. But the good news is that you need someone who is like a Sagittarius. You have Venus in Taurus and Mars in Scorpio so you are a good lover and need someone who can match that but you need a Sagittarius person to satisfy your needs. You might want to travel overseas or something of that nature.

Taurus is like that? I haven't heard that one yet 😂. We are a dry bunch though.

I'm dating a sag for the first time actually. He drives me crazy but his venus is in scorpio and Mars in cap so they mesh well. Very true about the insecurity part. No one has picked that out from my chart yet and I never attributed that to chiron conjunct the ascendant ruler. Thank you!

Hey, don't say that. I've Sun/Mercury in Taurus 12H and my Aries bestie says I'm one of the funniest people she knows. 😆

The earthy humour is usually not in your face so sometimes people don't know we just said a joke, lol.

It's natural with your Mercury/Pluto opposition. Your speech can be intense. You probably have strong opinions and a depth of thinking that others have trouble in following, hence coming across as "serious".

I get that a lot too, I always have everyone laughing and having a good time. I guess it's just my in your face sarcasm though. I don't think I've ever even seen a bush to beat around.

I do have strong opinions but I mainly keep them to myself except for those very close to me. Most of what I say goes right over people's heads so I just learned to either shut up, or turn it into sarcasm. The only person who truly knows when I'm actually serious is my son. In our composite we have mercury in Aries trine Pluto and opposite moon so we can have a conversation in front of people and know one's knows what we're even talking about.

Maybe the 12th house planets make you pull within and you are not as conscious of what is going on around you which is needed for humor.

That makes sense. The more I thought about it I realized I'm not showing anything on the outside. My voice sounds the same, my facial expressions, and my mannerisms are all the same. My communication is very much under the surface.

Yea, humor is very subtle and you need a lot of confidence to take it if/when people look at your weird. It is always a risk. If it is not,it is not funny. Good humor is never safe lol

I had that few times and someone got offended. Last time a friend ask me to lend him some money.. I sent him a #suckitpoor and "yes ofc, come". He got angry. Real thing is - he knows that I'm having like 50 bucks and I was goint to give him an half..

Every time I have to be careful that I say, bc he will react on something in negative way, that surprises me! If I know that will be a reaction I wouldn't say.

Synastry related, can this be position of my Moon in his 12th house, bc he's not aware of my feelings as well as Im not of his?

I have the exact same problem I always say something I think is an obvious sarcastic response/joke and people end up taking it completely seriously, leading to a lot of misunderstandings...
I thought it was something to do with my uranus in the 3rd house or something like that... but I don't know. You and I don't have any similar placements.
I think mercury in the 12th can produce an effect like...people have trouble understanding you. So I would say it has a lot to do with that.
And it's certainly not the Taurus placements like someone commented... I think once you cross the threshold of three or more Taurus placements your capability for understanding or reproducing sarcasm falls past the point of no return. For anyone with Mercury in Taurus the written word "sarcasm" actually just appears as a bunch of question marks and error symbols because their brains cannot comprehend it.
Just kidding lol. kind of.

I'm not mean though. I don't make fun of anyone or joke at anyone's expense. I can't stand when people do that, I'm actually really sensitive to it and I can feel how it makes others feel even if they don't say anything. It's just my way of joking or being sarcastic is just hard to pick up on I guess. It flies right under most people's radar.

Moon in the 12H is pretty tricky. My moon falls into my brother's 12H and I've never been able to joke around with him.
