I've been looking into my family tree and I've been glancing over people's charts. My grandmother and her mom (on my mom's side) had the same birthday - Nov 11. My grandmother's mom had a ton of Scorpio energy, her sun, mars, and mercury were scorpio. Plus, she had a moon-pluto conjunction within 0', next to Neptune. My grandmother had her sun and venus in Scorpio. My aunt has a scorpio moon. And then I of course have a lot of 8th house and pluto activity. Pluto is my dominant planet. Are there usually family connections/patterns? IP: Logged |

I remember reading of repeating patterns in families, not necessarily signs.I noticed that in my family ,all of the boys are born at or around the New Moon...even the premie & the adopted one, and I dont believe anyone was into astrology to have planned this. IP: Logged |

My mom is a Leo sun with Taurus moon and my sister has the opposite signs from her - Aquarius sun Scorpio Moon. My dad is Aquarius sun/moon and I have the opposite from him - leo sun & moon. All fixed signs. I do think it could be hereditary if that is possible. IP: Logged |

I have noticed where ever there are Aquarius, Leos are nearby, and vice-versa. Pretty sure this is true for the other signs as well.IP: Logged |

Yes I really do think opposite signs attract one another more than anything else. I find myself surrounded by Aquarius’s and my sister is by Leo’s (especially at work). IP: Logged |

My dad and I have similar charts. He’s a Leo sun and Pisces ascendant. I’m a Pisces sun and Leo ascendant. We both have moon-Pluto. My mom is a Sagittarius moon and my brother is a moon-Jupiter. He is a libra ascendant and his wife is a sun-Venus. Their son is a sun-Venus as well. My husband and I are both Pisces suns. I’m wondering if our future kids will have a strong Pisces. Another weird thing I noticed is that not only did my great grandmother and her mom share the same bday, Nov 11, but it’s also the birthday of my grandfather’s mom’s birthday as well. What a strange little coincidence. And she was very strong Scorpio, she had about 5 planets in Scorpio and was a moon-Pluto. So she was intense I am assuming. My grandfather was Afraid of her. People labeled her “crazy” and her death certificate said she was an inmate at a mental asylum. But back in the early 20th century I’m sure any slight menta condition would get you sent to a place like that. Anyways, I digress! IP: Logged |

We have the same thing in our family... all females strong scorpio influence and living with no men, bringing up their children alone in a dysfunctional way, traumatising them for life. Always screaming, super emotional, controlling, afraid of everything...My grandmother had scorpio venus, my mom has scorpio moon, my sister has many pluto aspects and her gemini stellium sits in 8th house, I have 5 planets in scorpio, incl moon, venus, mars... (my emotional life has been pure hell lol), my son has scorpio venus and moon. At least the younger females (my daugther and my niece) start to break that pattern, they have strong taurus energy and dont give a ...t).

I consider 29Gemini00:00 to 29Gemini59:59:59 to be Gemini 30 - but I am ok with that being considered as Gemini 29 by others. However, when referring to Sabian Symbols, one does need to ascertain which degree numbering system is being used. For example, the Marc Edmund Jones Sabian Symbol for 29Gemini00:00 to 29Gemini59:59 is Gemini 30. IP: Logged |

I remember when i was young and studying english and read some english text about the world wars of the 20th century and it made me really wonder what they meant. Because in my native language we always refer to a century by calling it by the hundreds A.D. So in my language we always refer to world war 2 happening in the 1900-century (1900-talet) But by using the same logic convention in english, that is used when refering to centuries, i believe a planet at 29 degrees and 10 minutes in Gemini is in the 30th degree of Gemini. Applying the logic of my native language would put the planet at 29th degree of Gemini. On topic: My family have patterns of Gemini, Cancer and Virgo across our charts. No exact degrees though. ^A sentry is some0ne who stands guard in front of something.Cent means 100. Thus, 19 century is the 100 years before the 20th, 21st is the 100 years before the 22nd, etc. IP: Logged |

12:23 pm is within the 12 o'clock hour, not 1 o'clock. 4:15pm is not 5pm, but within the 4 o'clock hour. IP: Logged |

12:23pm is within the first hour of the afternoon - so, within the 13th hour of the day. 4:15pm is within the 5th hour of the afternoon - so, within the 17th hour of the day. The 100 years after the birth of Christ is the first century AD. IP: Logged |

my niece's birthday is november 11th, she has a scorpio stellium like my motherusually a lot of families will have repeating signs or aspects my father and i both have a leo mercury (my father is a leo sun, my older brother has a leo mars, my younger brother has a leo moon so we all have leo in our chart) my mother and i both have aries moons my brothers and i don't have any personal water placements (my father lacks air, my mother lacks earth) my mother and i both have moon trine uranus, and venus conjunct ascendant from the 12th (hers is in scorpio with a loose orb mine has a tighter orb in libra) libra placements (my mother is a libra sun, my older brother has libra venus, sun, mercury, and pluto and i have libra ascendant/venus) my father and i both have moon square mars my older brother and i both have a 1st house south node 7th house north node in vedic it breaks down further and there's repeating nakshatras and such IP: Logged |

Yea, and there's a name for it - the 12 o'clock hour. It runs from 12:00pm to 12:59pm. quote: 4:15pm is within the 5th hour of the afternoon - so, within the 17th hour of the day.
Incorrect. There are sixty minutes in one hour. 4:15 implies there have been four complete 60 minute intervals, plus 15 minutes. quote: The 100 years after the birth of Christ is the first century AD.

This thread is making me look closer at my parent's chart.Just noticed my dad has Sun conjunct Pluto. I have the trine. His NN is also conjunct my nSun. This would've been opposite my Mom's pSun at time of my birth. Or, her pSun was conjunct his SN. With my mom I share a Saturn conjunct Ascendant aspect. Her in Capricorn, mine in Virgo. IP: Logged |

Right. My husband has a lot of Pisces in his family. He is a pisces sun/mercury. His youngest brother shares the same birthday as him, so he's also a pisces. His other brother is a pisces ascendant. His mom is a pisces moon. And I'm pretty sure his dad is a pisces ascendant. So I'm pretty sure there are family patterns! IP: Logged |
