IMO I think black people with cancer influence have a much more softer roundish features than people with the same influence but another race. I have noticed it with myself and a few others. Why do you think that is if you have noticed the same?

Couldn’t tell you why, but I can attest to this. Cancer moon with a soft, youthful face.

But youthful doesn't equate to more roundish features though?

IMO races are influenced by different elements. I think the races originating from the northern part of the world, like Caucasians and North Asians are predominantly air and earth, while in the southern part, Africans, Middle Easterners and Indians are predominantly fire and water. I think it makes sense that the elements which make up these soul groups is also reflected in the physique, so it wouldn't surprise me that black people who I believe have more water in them will have this even more pronounced if as an individual they already have more water in their chart compared to for example a white person with the water element.

With the genders it's the same, women are more emotional (water) than men who are more associated with the mind (air). Not to say that each don't contain the other's energies, but each gender will be in general born with a stronger disposition for the element associated with that gender. Women also have more roundish features, including the shape(s) of their body than men.

Would be good to see some 'scientific data' that backs some of the ideas presented, too. Might be 'a reach' .. making too many assumptions?

I get what your trying to do, though, in an astrological way. But I think the science may be a bit off?
{I really don't know}

I'm not black. I'm Caucasian.

I have some of the rounder softer features, because of Cancer planets, and Moon aspects. Also my Venus Taurus.

It would be Cool to me, if my DNA showed I was black??

Always LOVED the "Soul" that {stereotyping???} Black people show.
Spent years in Pentecostal church-environments, and am elevated by the worship and enthusiasm experiences in gospel music.

Your post edges on touching sensitive issues of racism {which right now is very prominent in USA}.

Thanks for your thread, SleepyDiary.
Hope you find results that you're looking for.

Well I never said these were scientific facts. They are just ideas based on what I intuitively perceive. And when did you ask for the scientific data for any other astrological assumption being made? I guess that was never the issue to begin with..

BTW speaking of making assumptions and 'reaching', you sure know how to reach and make assumptions yourself, subtly accusing me of racism and 'hate' to the point you felt the need to post a link to a youtube video about conquering hate with love...smh
I consider that to be quite a passive aggressive thing to do since I was never trying to spread hatred in any form.

BTW I am of mixed race and please check your own racism because Black in the phrase you used below is written with a capital, yet you didn't forget to refer to your own race with a capital(!) Unfortunately, racism can come in subtle, even unconscious forms but you can always blame it on it being a typo of course..

As I said I never said this was science, neither is astrology. In astrology we also refer to feminine and masculine energies. The water and earth signs are known as feminine, the fire and air signs are masculine which could also be considered sexist. Yet I never read anybody accusing astrology of being sexist, because I guess we all understand not to read into this in a stereotypical kind of way ,so why can't you do the same when it comes to ethnicity? Also, why is science suddenly an issue when astrology itself is not a proven science, yet you have no problem discussing any other astrological idea and you say you 'get' what I am trying to do astrologically, then why can't you just comment on that instead of making assumptions about racism? You could have focused on the positive as is what I'm trying to do, instead of being driven by fear and consequently making baseless accusations in the name of love, trying to suppress a potentially interesting conversation.

So it is ok if you do it???

The ability to express more Soul requires water (emotion as the gateway to the soul) and fire (passion is what ignites the soul) . So yeah, if you’re a ‘cold’ air or earth sign you may have more difficulty expressing soul or making soulful music for that matter. Come to think about it, what I see as the ”colder races” literally also come from colder places in the world. As humans we are part of nature and nature is made up of these 4 elements, so it makes sense that certain physical manifestations of nature will have a more concentrated form of 1 or more of these elements and at the same time contain all the 4 elements as well.

Anyways I thought this might have been a fun way of thinking of which zodiac sign suits best with which race because I think it's kinda obvious that each race exhibits certain energies more strongly than others that can be seen in astrology as well. And just like talking about your sun sign traits in a generic way can be fun, doesn't mean we don't know in the back of our minds that we have traits of all the zodiac signs in our personalized horoscope…

^ Soul is beyond elements and can be accessed through the use of Any element, though I do feel for some accessing it through intellectual(air) or body-oriented(earth) methods might be harddd

I do agree that races do have certain dominant elements present in them though. Having descended from africa(and all that heat), I do think they'd have certain fire element present in them coz their body and their system is more accustomed to all the heat and the effect the heat has on their psyche than the rest of the peeps!

There was an interesting thread "down there" in Hearth and Home about races a while back..

Yeah all these associations are no coincidence I think. The sun makes you more happy and jolly and Africans are known to be a joyful people just like the Leo sign which I think meshes the most with Africans which are both ruled by the Sun. And Leo rules the fifth house of creativity, music and the performance arts. Once again not to stereotype or claim that Black people have no other talents but this is definitely a prominent talent they have and I heard an African say himself that Africa =music. I think Black Americans are also strongly represented in Hollywood (5th house), despite being a minority in the US.

I'm just reading about physical characteristics of the Leo: the skin color has a golden tint. Check

Cat like features. Although I find it often noticable in individual Leo's, I don't readily see it in Africans as a race? But big hairdo's to show off the Leo's mane is part of their physical nature, so check here as well.

"Normally Leos have a noticeable swagger in their motions." Definite check. Black people are all about that swag lol.

"Leos carry themselves in a majestic manner." True and Africans say themselves that they are a very proud people (a Leo trait) and Black rappers love to refer themselves as Queens and Kings. I noticed Black women also refer to themselves more often as Queen instead of Princess which White women would do more often.

They also have strong physique fitting for Leo.

When I think of a zodiac sign for North Asians I thought of Saturnian influences when thinking about them being very structured, organized and disciplined (think of images of the Chinese army walking very much in sync with every movement and very stern looking). Then Asian teenagers tend to complain about their 'helicopter parents' being very strict with them wanting them to study hard. Overall they make me think mostly of Virgo and upon googling I found they are known to be perfectionists which is typical for Virgo ("The need to excel, prove oneself, and be “perfect” is entrenched in the mindset of Asians struggling with the shame of perfectionism.")

Chinese people have a long tradition with medicine and health knowledge which is ruled by the 6th house. Virgo's are aware of the fragility of the body and are said to have fragile ego's. I think we see this translated in their physical bodies, being the most 'fragile' and delicate looking race (compared to the others). Virgo's are said to be slender so that's a match too and traditionally Japanese and Chinese are known for various healthy body strengthening martial arts such as Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Qigong and so on.. (In China, Kung Fu refers to any study, learning, or practice that requires patience, energy, and time to complete. In its original meaning, kung fu can refer to any discipline or skill achieved through hard work and practice >> wow, so Virgo and something they also practice daily (6th house)!)

For Caucausians I was doubting between capricorn and aquarius...and I feel Arabs rule the 8th house, they like extremes.

BTW. The computer's Autocorrect changed the letter from small c to 'C' capital. Noticed after it posted, and I "SHOULD" have gone back in and edited one of those letters to be consistent-- but hadn't, as I needed to get off the computer quickly right-then.

The song was a 'general' song about a woman who had turned on the radio that morning, and heard News of some mass-murder event.
.. She was informing the spirits of Hate, by addressing them as in a letter, saying "Dear Hate"--- the Spirit of Love is present in the world, and is evident in the Care that is given to individuals overcome at those scenes, and by all who heard and sympathized. This was in no way a 'personal' message to yourself. Nope. It was about things that go on in Society.
Lyrics were written, echoing the sadness of assassinations of beloved figures, mass killings of certain targeted groups by Haters. If you listen, there are various historical events alluded to-- including Selma. How peace and safety can be shattered in a moment by a perp who was in the crowd, hidden then acting as a 'snake' in the grass, through surprise attack!

I'll look up what smh means in the urban dictionary later.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Hehe and yeah I agree about Aubrey plaza she has that cancerian look too, does she have more than one planet in cancer? This is another thing I`ve noticed too if more than one planet or moon is prominently placed the cancer influence shows more but with us blacks literally we only need one personal planet or asc in Cancer and we get all or most of the typical cancerian physical traits even with men I have noticed the same. This is the only sign I have seen this with.

Selena Gomez has a baby face. She’s so beautiful but will always look young.

I love that she’s a cancer and used the line, “you know I’m not one to forget”. Lol such a cancer statement ;-)
