One, that Pisces is into anything mystical, which implies that spirituality is an escapist fantasy given that's the other stereotype of them. Yet if many here believe spiritual values and experiences are true then it shouldn't be viewed as escapism, but the exact opposite, especially if one also believes in the LOA where expectation and fantasy/visualization creates reality, whereas everyone else are the ones escaping through materialism/Maya, thus their constant need for noise and other distractions to be provided to them by someone else to replace the spiritual values they lost (especially ironic if it's religious theme products they're buying), often pushed on them by marketing that creates artificial needs that spurs "real world needs" like a job with a certain salary in order to afford these distractions (and often addictions), the proper clothes and home, living up to expectations whether they're right for you or not, and so on.

The other is an impression I get that some to many believe that everyone save Scorpio is into wham, bam, thank you ma'am (or sir) vanilla missionary position sex (certain exceptions might exist, like Aries being hot if fickle passion and Libra into hyper-romantic ideals clingy as a Scorpio, and Aquarius/Uranus into the really weird for the sake of being weird/rebellious, but that none of it is lasting--note, that's not my view of any of these signs, that's the impression I get of how many others view them) and/or that Scorpio is fixed so that this is lasting while the others would fizzle out. Alternately (or simultaneously) Scorpio is seen as fixed in their passions so that only with them is the passion sustainable, rendering the love and passions of others as fleeting at best in comparison.

And yet if such an observation was true then Scorpio would be considered a clingy deviant to be avoided (save by other Scorpios, and maybe Aquarius who'd never survive) rather than an ideal to reach for. Yet another impression I get is that many want a Plutonian or Scorpio to give them the strength to raise their own freak flag that they'd never have the courage to raise on their own (though technically they shouldn't want that anyway, including Tantric sex, since they're not Scorpio), and keep it up given the fixed nature of the sign (that is not a novelty to be experienced and discarded, but to become a lifestyle). And things like Tantric Sex wouldn't be well known because only some Scorpios (and a few Pisces and Aquarius) wouldn't provide enough market for such ideas to spread (and wouldn't be particularly attractive to most others).

It's not just this thread (nor is it just these 2 examples), it's many of them. I finally decided to mention it this time is all.

I have Neptune in H8 natally, and despite having prominent Mars/Aries in my chart, I'm not typically sexually attracted to someone based on looks- it's a deeper, spiritual attraction that draws me to someone. So sex, for me, is (usually) a highly connected, spiritual experience.
To get more specific, I've had Saturn and Pluto transiting my 8th house this past year, and wouldn't you know I've taken an interest in studying Tantra (all parts, not just sex) over the past 10 months or so.

Have experienced both purposeful/conscious and unconscious/non-purposeful Tantric type sexual experiences.

While I very much enjoy sex with the right person (deep holistic connection), I could also just as easily give it up if I continued a practice of very deep and consistent meditation. I feel like eventually that will be my path, maybe after a few kids.

I think its because spirituality also requires a certain level of discipline in approach. The mind doesn't wander aimlessly. And discipline is a Saturn/earth thing-where structure is involved.

Add to that, Earth strong energy has a steadiness of intent and focus on the body and slowing mental thoughts that other elements may have to work at i.e fire and air can get restless and distracted.

Air strong folks may see it as a mental exercise- disembodied from the physical, emotional self(which they often leave unattended).Its first "interesting" but once repeated, it starts to feel one dimensional. And my guess is that its not a "once off" activity.

Fire strong folks may want to get to the "crux" quickly and find the sessions "drawn out" etc. Excitement is often confused with speed for them. So if its too slow, they lose zest.Then the attention span wanes.

Water strong folks can be in the zone one minute and then totally not with it in other instances.Their response could be dependent on their emotional state because they take so long to put emotional baggage to rest.
