Are they not as "strong" as Moon/Jupiter or Merc/Jupiter or Venus/Jupiter aspects? I was thinking that Mars/Jupiter aspects aren't as significant since they usually last longer. Everyone born during the duration of one of those aspects would have that aspect natally. How off am I in thinking this?IP: Logged |

Mars/Jupiter is the "may all your endevors(Mars) succeed(Jupiter) aspect. There is a sense of "nobility" to the actions of Mars given by Jupiter i.e the "holy"(Jupiter) war(Mars). Well at least this is on the surface. I have Mars sextile Jupiter natally. I tend to enjoy being active. But usually through long walks, a swim or bench pressing. Mars/Jupiter easy aspects can grant the ability to act with a positive impact or choose to act when its most beneficial. Etc I don't find it 'useless' at all. IP: Logged |

Super cool cause you get crazy huge balls to try anything and you get really competitive without being a sore loser or being domineering. Great for standing up for your own belief systems, doesn't matter what anyone says. Also huge appetite for sex, don't matter the sign. I have Mars trine Jupiter. I don't necessarily "feel" it myself as I have always been this way. I've only noticed it cause people around me noticed it and told me. The square, sextile, or opposition will probably notice it more for themselves.IP: Logged |

Lmao i agree with those 2 above^ Mars in the 1st square Jupiter/Pluto (conjunct)i'm so constantly reckless that i have it down to a fine art, in fact i can't function any other way. and while it looks like i'm out of control from the outside (especially from the view of my taurus/virgo/cap boyfriend)... i really AM out of control, but don't view it as such. i relish in being out of control. and besides, all of my recklessness and risk taking is carefully calculated to ensure that whatever happens, i can handle. i'm still alive, so... Jupiter is in 0 sag and mars in 0 virgo, pluto in 28 scorpio, and jupiter is the ruler of my sun so it's possibly amplified. also have Mars opposite Saturn (it's almost a t-square), and Mars square BML which is opposite Pluto/Jupiter in a t-square.

Oh I forgot I even posted this lol. With the exception of Aries, y'all seem crazy as hell. That's a good thing. The closest thing I have to a Mars/Jupiter aspect is my first house ruler opposing Jupiter. Don't know if that counts, but whatever. A guy I know who has Mars opposite Jupiter raw is actually a pretty quiet dude. He loves to fish. But when he was younger, he used to tag buildings and stuff. Is that Mars/Jupitery??IP: Logged |

This is an interesting one for me - because, at the age of 70, I can now see how my experience of it has unfolded over a lifetime. In the natal chart, I have Mars in Sagittarius/3rd making a 6-degree-orb conjunction with Jupiter (on IC) in Capricorn/4th ... which opposes Uranus (on MC) in Gemini/9th. Initially, I was a child/adolescent that worked hard to be the most physically fit person (of the same age) within my local community. Tagging buildings was unheard of back then - but, if it had been, I would have done it. (Mars dominant) As an adult, that developed into a drive to reach the top in my chosen profession. (Jupiter dominant) And, after retiring, it became a drive to study astrology as a full-time hobby. (Uranus dominant). IP: Logged |

Mars opposite Jupiter here. Not really reckless, although I can take risks, but yes people often tell me I am courageous and I have the balls to do/say things others don't. Many times I am in situations where I "lead" by example. Sports and exercise have always been part of my life too. IP: Logged |
