Is it true that moon cycles effect cancer placements or strong moon placements? I have no cancer in my chart but have moon in first house conjunct sun and have been so sensitive/ having anxiety the last couple days. Wonder if it’s the full moon. If it does, what cycles should I be looking for?

Idk... I have lots of Cancer, and Moon in 12th wchich they say is pretty sensitive, but I don't tend to notice moon cycles at all. So I guess it depends on other factors too.

Does the moon cycles have an impact on your mood too or mostly transit? Do they have any correlation with each other - moon cycles and transit? 🤔 I gotta take a look at transits more often I don’t pay attention to them enough.

Hmmmm I wonder if your moon in 12th house hides some moon qualities or sensitivity to those the cycles?

it's mostly an external thing in my case, if something externally affects my mood then yeah but otherwise nah it's not like that

i've been following my transits for a while and that's something i've noticed.

Moon in 12th conj Asc
Sun/Moon conj or just in Cancer
Moon in 3rd,6th,9th close to the angles.

These placements heighten minute to minute sensitivity to external activity. And so the phases of the Moon tend to have an impact.

The native needs to find a centre or be blown this way and that by emotions. This especially when Mercury,Uranus or Neptune aspect the Moon, then the native seems to others unbearably "moody".

This is because they(native) has their emotions on "responsive" mode and tends to soak up all the nuances of their external environment.

The people of the environment have little idea of the energy they exude(either conscious or beneath the surface) and so when the Moon person picks up aggression from the people/place around them, it feels agitating to them. And so they(Moon person) is agitated "out of nowhere".

The people are never aware of this subtle interaction between the Moon person and the energy that they(people) mix with the environment and so many will detach themselves from the Moon native and accuse the Moon person of bringing the "negativity".

The moon person however does not bring the "negativity", they just reflect it back. The Moon has no inner light, it serves as a mirror and reflects back its surroundings(which is why in Chaldean astrology it rules the cusp of the 6th/ 7th house).

To have the Moon prominent means that one needs to gain clarity and perspective between "feelings" and "emotions".

"Emotions" change and are the flux(they come from outside) hence the word "motion" in "Emotions"

"Feelings" are of course an inward experience, that's why there is "in" in "feelINgs".These don't change and are always in a state of self adoration & praise. Self-esteem is borne from this.

The "moodiness" is the chasm between feelings and emotions. When emotions try to overpower feelings and feelings are resistant(naturally). That is how and why you say "I don't feel myself". Because this is not your natural state.

So the changes of the Moon doesn't mean one with Moon prominent must "subjugate" themselves to the whims and transitions of the Moon.

It just means that one must take advantage of when and where one is at its "peak" to act in accordance with "emotions". As the Moon is also about rhythms and timing.

Trans Moon in Pisces- recuperate, seek solitude, avoid loudness or people who are excitable otherwise you will absorb that energy and put your feelings out of wack.

Trans Moon in Aries- Now is the time for action, making that date/decision, start something or finish something off.You are more resilient to external "interference" & can assert yourself more.

Moon in Taurus-Sustain the momentum started previously & do something worthwhile or "productive". Produce something that will bring ease or incorporate ease into your everyday life etc.

I was born around a full moon (Cancer / Cap) and ALL full moons affect me strongly! I’ll feel the energy of whatever sign the full moon is in.
Taurus full moon I feel most for whatever reason-usually I don’t feel well during this time.

I have moon in Aquarius conjunct my Aquarius ascendant in the first house. I guess you could say I pick up other peoples emotions quickly and can read people easily. Its a curse and blessing. Oh and my appearance and emotions changes according to the moon cycle. I do not know why this happens. But I change my hair style and color frequently. And I'm prone to moodiness lol. Does this sounds sort of like you?

I think strong moon placements and/or prominent Cancer placements (like having Cancer Moon conjunct an angle or a Cancer stellium) could definitely equate to being more sensitive to full moons. I don't have any actual evidence to back that up, but it' seems like a reasonable assumption to me.

I personally have my moon in my 4th house, and full moons are ROUGH for me. I'm usually working during a full moon (because how can you avoid that every month, really). To say that my work environment transforms into something out of a nightmare is an understatement...everyone needs everything from me, all at once. When I really just want to crawl under the covers and loose myself in a good book until it's over. I feel crazy myself during a full moon, tbh.
