Every person I've met that has a lot of sagittarius or 9H influences gets so deep into these crazy theories and spends a lot of time researching them. The maintenance man from my apartment building (lots of sag), my bf (lots of sag and Neptune), and my ex (9H stellium). I know sag is known as the explorer and knowledge but I was surprised at how many spend so much time investing in this area. Now when I'm talking to someone and the convo goes in that direction I automatically think they must have heavy sag or 9H lol.

I'm one and I have a strong Sagittarius influence with a stellium in the 9th house and Saturn conjunct Uranus in Sag in the 3rd house.

I also have Saturn conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius 3rd house, and a stellium consisting of Sun, Chiron, Mercury and Mars in the 9th. Yet I'm definitely not a conspiracy theorist, very far from it I'd say.

You know you can never tell whether Sag is into something because they really are interested in it or because they wanna sit in the middle of circle surrounded by their "gang" and brag, I mean "talk" about it(after they've coloured, edited, dramatized the version multiple times) .

I love conspiracies, but my 9th is rather weak. My 9th house is in Aquarius, empty. No Sag placements either.

Very Neptunian however.

I like mysteries. I don't like conspiracy theories. The Alex Jones sort, especially. He's a psychopath.

I'm an Aries. Conspiracy theories run rampant, got us this insane president, who has warped expectations when it comes to anything/everything. Conspiracy theories have cost people their lives, and led some to harass others, calling tragedies in their lives "false flags". People lost their tiny children in a mass shooting at school, and they haven't been given any peace or space to grieve the babies that are lost to them forever, because of the piece of trash who spread lies and hate about them.

Saturn in the 9th, square Jupiter in the 5th, and Pluto in the 11th. Unless you use equal house, then it's 6/12.

Jupiter trine Neptune and the midheaven. Sextile Venus. Moon/Venus/SN in Gemini, trine Pluto, square Mars in Pisces. Scorpio ascendant conjunct Uranus, trine Mars.

I would think it more 12th/8th house related because of the whole "what lies beneath" angle of it?

So Sun/Moon in 12th/8th or Cancer/Leo those houses.
Neptune in 4th/5th or Pisces in those houses.

I have Sun/Neptune conjunct.I enjoy them immensely. In 2008 when Pluto trans was conjunct Sun, I became a fan of David Icke. So I think Pluto/Neptune spur each other on with regards to this as I also have Sun/Pluto sextile.

I have 4 in the 12H and 2 planets in the 8H, lots of scorpio and taurus energy in my chart with Aquarius on MC and Leo on IC and I can not stand conspiracy theories. I think they can be very dangerous and easily lead people away from the truth and cause a lot of confusion. My bf has Neptune conjunct his sag sun and Merc in the 5H and he's always talking about these things.

I fit your requirements for this along with another stellium in the 12th.

Have you ever considered us 9th/12th housers are just better at uncovering the truth? Lol. I mean, all conspiracies have the potential of being true, right?

That psychopath was right about Epstein, and many other things.

The JFK papers released a year or two back prove that the govt does engage in false flags. You should try reading them.

I think instead of asking what causes people to be "conspiracy theorists" we should ask what in astrology makes people cling to their denial even AFTER something has already been proven, or what makes people incapable of spotting obvious patterns.

Everyone knew about Epstein. It was no secret. Trump was great friends with him, and accused of raping a teenage girl on his property. All I've seen is his supporters gunning for Clinton (which I'm fine with, if he did the same thing). They don't want to hear that the guy they worship was involved, too.

That psychopath has caused too much harm in people's lives. He's delusional and dangerous.

I'm not in denial.

That more what I was after. And the getting so wrapped up in them. If there's good evidence to support such theories, I'll listen.

But that question would apply even more to conspiracy theorists in general who are notorious for being in denial when something challenges their own theory (including other conspiracy theorists), or calls out someone they trust for the crap they've done. The irony of being so gullible while telling everyone else to "wake up" is almost as funny as it is perplexing.

And I've heard Alex Jones before. What BS, like that hormones are turning kids gay despite that hormones have little, if anything, to do with sexual orientation, his "estrogen" theory wouldn't hold to lesbians who are just as common, or why many gay men are actually (outside the ignorant imaginations of many who have had minimal contact, seeing only those who fit their stereotypes) masculine in form and psychology and yet many of them (according to their hookup sites) still wanting "masc 4 masc" (that is, no feminine guys), and those who want to transition to male seem about as common as those wanting to transition to female (as for intersex, now there was a conspiracy theory of sorts, though maybe just a poor practice, of surgically altering them at birth to be one gender or the other). And as for the case of puberty coming earlier for girls, I have a pretty good idea why that is from what my (or my granny's) doc said about why I was taking so long to enter it (long story short: obesity, though hormones in the beef and milk may have an effect, but not like I heard him explain it). Granted, it's been years since I heard this and didn't consider it important to keep in long term memory (other than he's full of it) but I do recall he was also selling some "filtration" unit so that you could be protected from these hormones.

'Course there really are hormones used in the beef and milk industry and many others as well that don't get sufficiently studied by the government agencies supposed to be watching them. But now people who bring that up can be confused with people who spout the BS Alex Jones gives them and thus their concerns dismissed, while others don't who don't want to be confused as an AJ fan stay quiet.

Likewise, the most frustrating to me, is how the medical and pharmaceutical companies can unethically market drugs (trying to sell to those who don't need them while denying them to those who do whenever possible), price gouging even for life saving medications sometimes by hundreds of percent, horrible experiments on kids in orphanages and in the care of the state (not all of them by any means as many have a conscience, but it has happened, and will happen again), questionable activities that suggest many horrid practices of history are still going on, patient dumping (I've seen this actually happened while I was volunteering with the homeless, what that hospital did was outright evil) and yet the vast majority of people talking about these companies are instead hung up over some anti-vax BS (and can conduct horrid campaigns on unbelievers like cyberstalking and leaving vile messages to parents who vaccinate kids, and especially those who wise up and start vaccinating).

It's so convenient to the wealthy corporations that my own inner-conspiracy theorists makes me wonder if Alex Jones and the like are shills and professional distractions for big business, that is the same people who pay obscene amounts of money on ad campaigns (which uses the most advanced psychological manipulation, ironically the closest thing to true mind control, and is actually true that they've used Facebook to secretly study users as part of that research in addition to spreading their tailored BS over it along with others who figured out how to make that system work for them as well) just as they do on politicians and legislation. 'Course some people would get into it for their own personal reasons rather than everyone serving the same monolithic source so common to conspiracy tropes.

But I'm just going to ascribe it to him making easy money off of gullible people (and those willing to pay to feel informed) like so many others do in one form or another, from televangelists, a legalized scam, to other scammers and fake news providers of all stripes who become wealthy by their victims throwing money at them (and buying their products so that "we remain independent" as AJ likes to say, no matter how much of his BS "coincidentally" tries to scare listeners into buying them, though I bet he still gets a lot of ad revenue on many media sites on top of whatever else he may be paid), either out of fear, and/or for having told them exactly what they wanted to hear to confirm their political or specific religious beliefs.

It also exploits our tribal natures (which can be vicious) by uniting us under common stories, that myths and legends (in this case the urban legends and conspiracy theories) that allow a people to feel a commonality that they understand each other with and thus feel bonded to others (and thus the need to "get the truth out there") while also identifying enemies of the tribe (those targeted in the theories, and, of course, nonbelievers like me who are obviously working for "the Man"--at least someone who can be an Agent in the style of the Matrix--unlike people with their own nationwide networks to disseminate their BS).

And conspiracy theorists, along with fake news and other deceitful propaganda, have caused great harm to believers and non-believers alike, including shootings in this nation and others.

And though I've only given Alex Jones a little time (and amazed at how so many people can be that gullible, though I expect the politics "helps"), I'm going to agree with teasal and say he's a psychopath of some kind. His claims of crisis actors, while obnoxious enough, crossed a line when the real people he mislabeled as crisis actors were getting harassed and threatened, which conveniently silences many of them (and future victims) out of fear and thus making the corporations that sell these guns a little safer (just one more dirty trick of theirs). If AJ had any decency he'd have gotten people to stop by whatever rationalization he wanted to invent, or at the very least, find some new rhetoric that causes less harm to the innocent while dropping that "crisis actor" BS. He's like the metaphorical man shouting "FIRE" in a crowded theater. But then maybe my inner-conspiracy theorist is right and he's being paid too much money on the sly by say execs of Remington Arms and Smith & Wesson with every ***** having his price.

Rant aside, I suppose I should that I have a 5H Sag stellium sextile to Libra stellium (and Scorpio Jupiter, with Libra on Scorpio cusp). I do consider myself an "explorer" in the realm of ideas as well as places, and a deputy once told me I should become a detective. But after looking into conspiracy theories (sometimes there does seem to be a bit of flame to the smoke that makes me intensely curious, but it's usually just a mystery to me), that's not for me. I have wondered some pretty weird things at one point or another, though.

In contrast, my mom used to be obsessed with Marilyn Monroe conspiracy theories (her death), but I think she just over identified with her somehow. I don't recall any Sag in her chart, or anything 9H, but I lost her chart so I can't be sure. As that was her only obsession (not even the JFK assassination seemed to intrigue her too much--maybe a little), I don't think that would count her as a "conspiracy theorist" save in literal terms because she just didn't get into that beyond that one narrow focus, and she was also obsessed with Marilyn Monroe's life in general.

Sounds like you're a conspiracy theorist yourself, but you've instead chosen to go after other conspiracy theorists. If I had to guess, I'd say you probably aren't a fan of either the 1st or 2nd amendment.

Of course, I disagree with you on a lot, but I don't feel the need to get into it here.
