I have both of these placements but I also have sun, mercury in the 1st as well, so I really don’t know hoe I come across.
But my interest was more placed on these two placements? What happens when you have these two planets (venus & saturn) in the 1st house?

i have venus conjunct libra ascendant and 1st house pluto in scorpio, and people are really quick to tell me what they think, they dont with you?

saturn can add harshness but that doesnt necessarily equate with being unattractive, someone can look stern or some **** without being ugly

Saturn in the first gives someone a more mature, "queenly"/elegant and sometimes icy look. It may also mean you are the kind of person who gets more attractive as they age.

I mean people tell me Im pretty, but people tell a lot of people they are pretty so I don’t take it genuinely a lot of the time.Plus I notice people only tell me Im pretty when Im with my mom or someone else. Or I hear from my mom that someone said I was pretty but I don’t know id she’s being truthful she can lie often 😂 Rarely do they tell me when Im alone. Even the rare occasion a take a pic and post it people rarely compliment me. I see others get compliments on pics all the time but not me. I don’t know. I mean sometimes I feel confident in how Iook and feel pretty especially in the mirror but then I take a picture and don’t like the way I look at all. My confidence is brought down tremendously. So I have a love hate relationship with how I look.
When I was younger I was definitely not pretty at all in my opinion. I got older and able to wear makeup and stuff to look prettier. My features also became more prominent. But eh I think Im funny looking in pics so if that’s the real me then Id say Im not pretty.

Well I can see how I maybe come off icy. Im reserved and don’t talk to people very much which probably makes me unapproachable. And I think I look better now than I did when I was a kid because wow I was far from pretty as a child. And now I have makeup 😂

pictures are all a matter of angles, you can make someone attractive look unattractive and vice versa

years ago a friend was showing me a bunch of people who were coming to a party, a shitton of pictures and this one chick was really ******* hot so i was thinking "can't wait to see her"

night of the party this kind of ugly chick is hanging around me so i smoked weed with her and whatever because she was there and she followed me around all night

next day everyone leaves and i was crashing there for a week or so i was hanging around, said to my friend "hey the hot chick never showed up"

turned out she did, and she followed me around all night, i smoked weed with her she just wasn't actually hot in person

some people are photogenic or really ******* good at knowing how to take pictures of themselves it's not necessarily an actual reflection of what they look like

just like some people look better in person

do they tell you you're pretty when there's absolutely no reason for them to? because then you just might be

So when in 1st, ones looks or how appears aesthetically (Venys) etc. becomes a sore point(Saturn).

The person can be drop dead gorgeous or paid(Sat)for their looks(Venus). But they will still struggle to understand why. Especially when they feel so "unsexy" or "ugly".

Yes Saturn does rule bone structure. And yes there are cases of people with Saturn strong having great bone structure. But I also think ones genetic pool works in tandem with the planetary influence.

If I come from family of plumpy people, by no stretch of the forces of Planetary alignment will I be tall and lean. Even with Saturn in 1st. I will however view my "plumpiness" in the same way that the world does i.e that it makes me "ugly".

What Saturn in 1st does consistently suggest however is added insecurity in the way that one comes across to others. Saturn in 1st can have heightened sensitivity to negative comments pertaining to their appearance or to minimize compliments.

The Saturn/Venus person(especially in House 1) feels like they have to "work hard"(Saturn) to look/feel good about themselves(Ven).

So they may pay careful attention to style and fashion YouTube videos, take "Etiquette" classes,get that body at the gym, enroll in modelling schools to "learn"(Saturn) all the things of Venus(how to beautiful).

Typically speaking for the person, winning pageants or body beautiful contests is a turning point for them. Because that is when their beauty(Venus) is at a heightned point(Saturn) and seen/discerned by everyone and judged "approvingly".

So finally, only then will they believe they are "beautiful". Or atleast partly accept it. Well, thats until the accolades dry up and then they come to a new spiritual epiphany( Saturn is related to the solar Mc) about beauty and attractiveness(Venus).

The work for Venus/Saturn in 1st is mostly self-esteem related i.e don't be the type to look towards people, modelling contracts, beauty pageants, how well you photograph etc. To determine how good you feel about your own appearance.

And because the feelings about one's looks are also directly connected to those whom you attract-more especially when Saturn reacts with the 7th. Watch out for the partner using their influence on how you feel about your looks.

So if they say "you are pretty.But you would be prettier if...." or "you are neither pretty or ugly.Just plain" etc. This is ABUSIVE because you never feel good after they say it. So know that they are mirroring back how you feel about YOU. There is "self abuse" therein and that is how you are attracting them.

If you are self critical, self deprecating and feel "undeseving" etc. They(partners) will treat you accordingly.

Venus in 1st will often inspire the native to look at the above listed from a more positive or uplifting view. This is what brings the "inner beauty" out.

Venus conjunct Ascendant can indicate greater plumpness/lower metabolism (in a sense it indicates a greater feminization of the body). Saturn conjunct the Ascendant on the other hand is notorious for indicating a more slim, lean figure and faster metabolism (but often lower vitality).
