Hey Dumuzi I read many online articles on Juno. Some arguments stating Juno as being the "soul-mate" aspect because of its link to marriage.
I disagree with this as I think Moon-Sun is soul(Sun) mate(Moon). This especially the tight orb double whammy(included herein is the Draconic chart)
" Soul mates" are to me the people that reflect (Moon) back to you whom you are from a soul level(Sun). When people go beyond Sun/Moon in their "soul-mate" philosophy,I don't follow.
And secondly, we all know that its not always our "soul-mates" that we marry. In that we don't always marry when we feel "complete" but rather when we are looking for "completion".
Sun/Moon is about self-completion and being with someone whom is your equal. A "soulmate" is a person who is your "mate" as a complete person and not the one who "completes" the puzzle. So you can have more than one soul-mate throughout your life-depending on where you are on a soul level.
But I do understand that from our current school of thought, a soul mate is someone whom "completes you And so Juno is that partner whom people see as "lucky" to have found etc.
This especially when Juno forms tight aspects to Sun/Moon. Then we can be ever convinced that the person is indeed our "soul mate". Its great when we are complete as individuals and the person is indeed a "mate".
It is a problem however when we are not complete as people and therefore expect the Juno person to live u to ideals we project on them. Very slippery slope.
Then I read others that linked Juno to infidelity( the sexist and biased point of view being that Juno rules mistresses).
I agree with this view and extended this to men.In that Juno also rules men who interfere with partnerships or marriages.
Juno to me represents the extent to which one identifies with partnerships/marriage as part in parcel of their security blanket(Taurus) or emotional well-being(Cancer).
In a way this links to marriage(true)but not in the "I love you" way like Libra. But much rather in a way that "binds" the person to the agreement to "love" and "cherish" another that you made that statement to.
So there is bondage/links/contracts and obligations with Juno. And this gives it a more Saturnine nature as well.Juno in Cap/Sco is the most likely to take the promise of "till death do us part" quite literally.
And so where does infedility come in? My view is that Juno interacting with the natives love planets Venus /Mars as well as outer planets Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune means that the native may have to deal with issues of infidelity and/or extra marital affairs lot.
Its either the native "dishonors" the relationship and exposes the partner to the external party/parties.Or the native suffers this consequence from the spouse.
Its still a work in progress. It came to me when I was watching "Cheaters" and concluded that Juno definitely has a Martian nature of protectiveness about their turf(Taurus)or the person they are attached to(Cancer).
So when I read that Juno was(in mythology) the type to go after Zeus'/Jupiter's (her husband)mistresses and nymphs with a momentum of anger, I wondered if there could be a link?
Juno would then represent that one very important or highly significant partnership/marriage or alliance that you are definitely not indifferent to. And that which you would probably stand to "lose"(Scorpio) a lot from should it be dissolved. There is just too much at stake.
This is especially the case when Juno is in Taurus, Can, Leo,Virgo,Scorpio, Cap. For the rest, the agreement tends to not be a big deal(barring contradictory aspects)
Prince Charles-who is world renowned for his affair with Camila Parker Bowles throughout his marriage to Diana has Juno in "I will do what I want" Aries
Aries is not a great placement for Juno as Mars ruled Aries is a sure fire indicator of trouble and strife in contractual obligations(Juno). One tends to do "spur of the moment" things that undermine the alliance or takes unilateral decisions.
Is Uranus in aspect? Yes. This exacerbates Juno in Aries through erratic choices and wanting complete freedom.
Is Jupiter in aspect? Yes. This makes Juno in Aries drive for unilateral decision-making BIG.
Juno in Aries is also on the Aries point.
Bill Clinton has Juno in charming Libra(ruled by Venus).Libra is also not great for Juno as Libra has a hard time saying "No" to temptation.
Firstly Mars conjuncts his natal Venus-impulsive actions in the name of lust.Drive to get more pleasure
Juno also conjuncts Jupiter.Jupiter expands this love of all things beautiful and sensual.
Juno also widely conjuncts his Chiron. His infidelity certainly hurt his public image & made him look sleazy.
Prince William. Does the apple fall far from the tree?
His Juno is in Cap. How seriously does he take his vows(Juno)? Well Saturn ruled Cap is a good placement for Juno. But lets look closer.
Saturn(Juno ruler) conjuncts Mars in Libra-Controlled sexual impulses. He will certainly keep tight lid on his indiscretions-should he wander.
Pluto also also widely conjuncts Saturn(Juno ruler). Marriage is certainly a big deal and he takes it very seriously. He will resist a divorce fiercely. But shoulf infidelity come from Kate, he will be unforgiving.
But there is that Neptune conjunct Juno widely and so I am not completely sold on the whole "upstanding moral man" thing.
Neptune on Juno could be indicative of someone who marries a saint or someone who certainly knows how to appear like one.
The other possibility is huge disappointment in marriage which will result "wandering"outside the marriage with someone who knows how to be very discreet and keep up a facade. Or atleast someone who lets him continue to live a fantasy.
And his brother? Is Harry commitment type?
Harry has Juno in dutiful Virgo. He means well and tries hard..This especially when we see that Juno conjuncts Mercury (its ruler). So Mercury largely influences his attitude towards the whole "till death" part of marriage.
The problem however is that pesky Uranus in Sag square as well as that hurtful Chiron square to Mercury.
It could be that things unexpectedly change or unravel within the commitment that ends up in a dissociation. This especially when we see Uranus widely conjunct Mars and Mars squaring Sun. He is very impulsive and has regrets actions after the fact.
The dissociation will likely hurt him in some way big. Sun/Mars harsh aspects have a sensitive ego and personalize things to a level of "all or nothing".
Will he bring the mistress or will it be Meghan? When looking at Venus in beauty loving Venus and flirtatious Mars in Sag within easy aspect, he can certainly make her feel insecure. And this may lead to sudden outbursts.
Beneath it all, he is a realist and takes his lot. If its broken, he will want to fix it. This especially with Saturn/ Moon opp(traditionalist) and Neptune/Sun square (idealist).
