I had no doubts that you see yourself that way, Aries Eagle. ... But, do those who know you well agree with your self-perception?

I thought the Septile is about what inspires you, not how others see you like the Rising sign.

The correct interpretation for the septile has not yet been ascertained.

For example .. on this thread, both you and hypatia have revealed an ability to "speak thoughts without filtering them" ... and that might be how the septile actually manifests.

However, her natal septile is linked to a strong Neptune - and that seems to enable her to tap into the source of infinite wisdom. Hence, her unfiltered spoken thoughts are "tainted" by the planet connecting her to the source of infinite wisdom - but the pure septile meaning (that has to apply apply to all planet pairings) would be only that it produces an ability to "speak thoughts without filtering them".

And, if you do not have a strong natal Neptune connecting to the source of infinite wisdom ... it could/might make your Mars-Jupiter septile manifest negatively, rather than as the always-positive influence which astrologers are currently assigning to that aspect.

So ... to ascertain if your septile manifests in the positive way which you (subjectively) believe it does ... a second opinion/more objective view is required, from someone that knows you well.

How to find Septile aspect => astro.com go to extended chart selection > chart type choose Harmonic chart then enter 7 in day field... now conjunctions are your Septile aspect.

Thanks Hypatia!

Yes that is one way to get them!

Interesting, pay attention to transits activating your mars or jupiter and check how that feels.

The septile is an energy we need to submit to, and to be taken over by.

In The Spirit of Numbers, David Hamblin states that "Walk-in from Sirius" has one of the strongest Sevenness charts that he has ever seen. And, the AstroDataBank record for this Canadian walk-in states "the entity from Sirius took over this body and...... He is a healer and a shaman, living with his girlfriend in Sakina."

Moreover, David Hamlin concludes (from his sample of 7H charts in TSoN) that "all of them were (in one way or another) standing outside the world in which they found themselves." (Including the very grounded Wimbledon tennis champion Roger Federer, who does indeed seem to inhabit a different world from other players when on the court.]

So, might the 7H aspect enable the unconscious self to act without any censoring by the conscious self?

For example, there have been only two occasions in my life when I have been conscious/aware of my actions being steered by "the still, small voice within". ... And, my 7H aspects were being strongly activated (by progressions and transits) during both of those periods. Each of those events moved me in a new direction, and letting go of the familiar to embrace the unfamiliar involved emotional discomfort. ... But, "that which was within needed to be brought forth" (or it would have destroyed me).

Interesting Graham! Thanks for sharing this experience.

Loved "might the 7H aspect enable the unconscious self to act without any censoring by the conscious self?"

^That is a great way to put it and yes this is what I think perhaps happens and why it "feels" like you are been irrational bc something kind of takes over and you don't feel in charge in a sense but the feeling is that it needs to happen that way even if it doesn't make sense.

Not able to concentrate well today.
I haven't really read through this thread.
Glanced at some of it, and the links provided.
Nice topic, Hypatia. *thumbsup*

I was blessed with an {(accidently)-free} copy of my own "Harmonic Highlights" report by Cochrane, accessed Feb15,2019

Cosmic Pattern Software,
Gainesville, FL
email kepler @ AstroSoftware.com
{I highly recommend it}
It is a 'computer generated' instant report.

Let me tell you, reading it REALLY deeply explained some things about myself, my life, that I wasn't aware of, and that was 'important' for me to know. I really really wished I had had a copy of this decades ago, when I was a younger person. It would have 'clarified' some things for me.

IF you can afford one,
then I would highly recommend this report.
You can purchase it from Cochrane's website.

These were the description of my own septiles.
If you have calculated that you have the same, then, you can extrapolate your own meanings from it.

QUOTING the report. These are the SEPTILES only.

* Moon 7th harmonic (septile) Saturn,
very strong (orb: 0 Deg 00 Min)
There is a very strong reclusive, meditative, and reflective side to you.
It is nearly impossible for you to develop and grow properly without time to think deeply and ponder issues.
Reading, or other solitary activities like painting, suit you well.
It is important for you to stay limber.
Stretching exercises or yoga can be wonderfully healing for you and help your bones and joints remain strong and healthy.

* Mars 7th harmonic (septile) Pluto,
very strong, (Orb: 0 Deg 24 Min)
You have very good stamina and you are not fully satisfied with 'mediocre' results.
You are willing to work with dedication and commitment over a long period of time to gain mastery and excellence.
You derive satisfaction from exploring the historical roots and the many underlying influences of any area of life, thereby gaining a deep and mature comprehension of the material.

* Venus 7th harmonic (septile) Mars,
strong (Orb: 1 Deg 27 Min)
You are responsible, loyal, and dedicated in love relationships.
You have the patience to work through problems with relationships and projects that are important to you.
You seek a deep connection with others, and you have a deep, almost mystical bond with the ones you love.
You have the perseverance and steadiness to complete large creative projects.

* Venus 7th harmonic (biseptile) Pluto,
strong, (Orb: 1 Deg 04 Min)
You are devoted and dedicated to your loved ones.
You sustain good friendships and you are willing to work to make a relationship that is important to you work.

* Sun 7th harmonic (septile) Jupiter,
(orb 1 Deg 53 Min)
You can succeed through your mature, disciplined approach to achieving goals.
You are more inclined to develop a plan for success and carefully follow it rather than gamble or speculate your way to success.

end/list

These were covered in my own report--
because they occur strongly in my chart.
16th harmonic
5th harmonic (quintile)
7th harmonic
32nd harmonic
24th harmonic
semi-sextiles
9th harmonic (quadnovile)

Report also covers your--
MIDPOINTS CONJUNCT/OPPOSITION
(if there are any within up to a 15 minute orb)

DIRECT MIDPOINT STRUCTURES
(allowable orb = 1 1/2 degrees)
..{this section had some really important info for me, even in terms of cautions needed}

Here's an LL-link to another conversation on Harmonics/Vibrational Astrology.

There are other reference-links provided there for research and study.

Note that these three planets form a 7H triangle, mirage ... making them considerably more influential than would be the case if that was not so.

Have you noticed how this natal triangle manifests when Venus, Mars and Pluto are activated by progressions or/and transits?

Awesome post Hypatia238. I love quintiles and septiles, but I think I like septiles even more than the former. I like to think of septiles as an override button given to you from the universe. Where there was a rule before, you get to break it and set up your own rule in place. I, myself, have pluto in scorpio septile saturn in capricorn.

I do not yet (and may never) have an explanation for why ... but people with septile aspects involving Saturn and a personal planet seem to stay in relationships for longer than (perhaps) is in their best interests.
And ... in some cases ... that reluctance to leave an employer/lover/friend/dependant/bookmaker/moneylender or other kind of relationship/"situation" contains an element of masochism or/and addiction.

Eventually though ... some progression or/and transit activates the septile - bringing the realisation that the situation needs to end, and the (unconscious) 'higher self" seems to somehow find a way to ensure that it does so.

[*Septile aspects include the 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 35th, 42nd, 49th and 56th harmonic aspects. ... However, the higher the harmonic aspect number, the less conscious the chart owner will be of the related behavioural trait in himself or herself.]

Interesting way of putting it, I like it. I think pluto maybe wants to change/transform Saturn's rigid outdated rules perhaps. The septile to you feels this way bc it involves pluto and saturn. Maybe Pluto feels it cannot help but to try to change saturn's rules when the rules feel outdated, dont make sense to you or dont serve the higher good. Like the spirit of the law versus the letter of the law. With Pluto septile Saturn maybe what happens is pluto wants to destroy excessive laws out there that get in the way of the spirit of the law.

Interesting your pluto in scorpio septile Saturn in capricorn are in mutual reception.

Interesting theory, I guess saturn in septile to personal planets can make someone maybe irrationally loyal.

Thanks for sharing this observation. I will check for this.

Interesting Graham..

My husband has:

Saturn in Libra at 1d11

Mars in Scorpio at 22d06
DC in Scopio at 22d43
Uranus in Scorpio at 23d06

His Saturn septiles that Stellium, it Septiles Uranus the tightest though but also his DC within orb.

Actually My natal PSYCHE falls in that stellium.

I have Psyche in Scorpio at 24d12 so his Saturn septiles my Psyche by 1d3.

We have been together 12 years total, I asked the Universe to send me someone who would never give up on me before I met him.

I do think when Tr Uranus squares his VENUS in LEO at 25 degree in the 4H which rules his chart and hits his AC while it opposes that stellium in his DC while it also squares my venus in Leo at 23 conjunct Mars in Leo at 24 degree that one of us will die or we will separate or by then we will have a baby and then the baby will die (god I hope not). IDK what will happen but when Uranus hits his AC its going to activate so much stuff in his chart I am seriously concerned even though my experience so far with Uranus transits has been very positive. WE may end up growing old together, we may not but one thing that I know for sure is I need him to be okay and nothing bad to happen to him ever, Its extremely important for me that if we end things that we end it in good terms and that he is completely taken care of and financially independent, I need him to be in a position of power if we ever separate and to be happy. He has been unconditionally loyal to me but so have I to him. I can't stand the idea of him not been happy, safe and okay. I have always been super protective of him.

^^In composite we have VENUS SEPTILE SATURN in LIBRA exalted exact and Saturn falls in the 8H and squares the nodes.

Venus in LEO at 24d42
Saturn in LIBRA at 16d55

Northnode in Cancer at 19d22

Composite Venus also squares exalted URANUS in SCORPIO at 29 degrees (degree of crisis and endings) and all the crisis we have in our relationship DO NOT tare us apart ever, it just always brings us closer together and strengthens our bond. During times of crisis I want to be with him more than ever. I am just realizing that Uranus in scorpio at 29 degrees square VENUS plays out like that for us when you factor in that Venus also Septiles Saturn in the 8H and that Saturn squares the nodes (longevity).

Your husband's transit Uranus (to natal Uranus) will reach the (1-degree-orb) activation point on 10th July 2023; turn retrograde on 30th August 2023 (at 23Taurus05); oppose transit Sun at Taurus 22 (on 13th November 2023); turn direct on 28th January 2024 (at 19Taurus05) and move beyond the (1-degree-orb) activation point on 30th May 2024.

He then gets another dose/activation of that transit ... when retrograde Uranus hits 24Taurus06 (on 16th December 2024); after opposing transit Sun at Taurus 26 (on 17th November 2024) - and prior to stationing at 23Taurus16 (on 26th January to 5th February 2025) and finally making a last pass of the (1-degree-orb) activation point on 16th March 2025.

So ... that Uranus "half return" will present him with a significant cross-roads choice ... BUT*, the Sabian Symbols for Taurus22 (keyword guidance) and Taurus26 (keyword constancy) suggest that this will be a time when "a poetry of living and a music of desire become the final touchstones for true self-fulfilment" (Marc Edmund Jones interpretations).

[* From Cycles of Becoming, by Alexander Rupertii ... "the Sabian Symbol of the degree on which a (retrograde) planet falls at the time of it's opposition to the Sun will give a key both to the basic meaning of the confrontation experienced and to its potential solution as well. ...... It is a general challenge to all humankind. However, it will affect each individual personally according to the planet's house positions at the time."]

Have you reviewed what happened when transit Uranus was qcx your husband's natal Saturn, hypatia?

19th May to 8th July 2018 ... 7th September to 2nd November 2018 (retrograde) ... 10th March to 17th April 2019.

[Transit Uranus (retrograde) at Taurus 1 was opposite transit Sun on 23rd October 2018.]

And ... did the current transit Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn not begin activating his Mars-Dc-Uranus on 26th March 2018 (when Pluto reached 21Capricorn06)?

September 2018 to March 2019 was a time of crisis for us but he was the target, a situation from close to 5 years ago THEN, re-emerged. Things however played out best case scenario given this situation re-emerging and although a crisis it set things in motion in his life were he has been stagnant for a long time and this all has ended up been a blessing in disguise pushing for a new beginning for him and us. He is finally succeeding and has a business that is doing well, we finally have two incomes and I am not the sole bread winner after a long period of been the sole bread winner.

"And ... did the current transit Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn not begin activating his Mars-Dc-Uranus on 26th March 2018 (when Pluto reached 21Capricorn06)"

Actually yes I met someone May 2018 and my relationship with that person was a catalyst for change bc it made me push my husband like I never have before in a very assertive consistent way to become financially independent so when the stuff in September went down is like I already had done work to prepare him to deal with this crisis effectively. One thing set the stage for the other.

Thanks for helping me track his journey better.

Both of these periods you speak of totally did shake things up but in a way that has been beneficial to him and us but specially to him bc is significant to his personal growth. I am more proud than I ever have been of him this year and he continues to grow. What was stagnant is no longer stagnant.

You see this is why I like Uranus but when Uranus hits his DC/AC/Chart ruler before that it will hit his Chiron and square his nodes and it will also activate other stuff in his chart, it concerns me how much his chart will be activated by Uranus...

Did you bring up these periods bc you feel they will be connected to how Uranus plays out in the future when it activates his DC/AC and chart ruler etc?

Thank you so much for following up with this. For a few months now I have been stressing about this and I don't tend to stress over transits. He has chiron in Taurus at 17 degrees square his northnode in Leo at 19 degrees so I feel Tr Uranus will hit his chiron, activate his nodes and conjunct his AC and oppose his DC/mars/uranus around when Tr Uranus is in Taurus between 17-19 degrees, later it will hit his chart ruler Venus in Leo at 25d right after it hits my venus conjunct mars in Leo so bam bam bam.......

I loooooooooooooove "a poetry of living and a music of desire become the final touchstones for true self-fulfillment." This is all I want for him, for him to get to a place he feels self-fulfilled with himself. I like were you are going with this and this would make sense given all the changes taking place this past year, that Uranus transit might be a time were he takes more chances to reach self-fulfillment that maybe will build up and stem from the changes that have happened this year so far.

Yes, hypatia. ... The whole of a natal configuration is activated whenever a progression or/and transit activates any of the planets within it. ... And, the activation process begins with the planet at the lowest degree number (regardless of it's place by sign/house) and ends with the planet at the highest degree number. ... So, Saturn is the "scout planet" for that particular natal configuration. (Thus, setting the tone for what will come later - as the activation process unfolds.]

However ... because the septile is involved, I wondered if your husband had displayed/experienced any of the "walk-in by a higher/Neptunian Self" symptoms (which you and I pondered upon earlier in this thread). ... And, because Saturn is involved, I wondered if the event had contained an element of "not moving on (from something), despite it being in his best interests to do so".

Natal Chiron in Taurus/6th indicates a (childhood/adolescent) wounding of one's self-worth, that is most visible in 6th house activities (paid work, health and everyday living).

Planets square the nodes indicate "skipped-steps" (according to Jeff Green's Pluto - the evolutionary journey of the soul.) ... So, in this lifetime, you husband is playing 'catch-up" (with regard to correctly understanding/evaluating his own worth).

Ac/Dc axis = how one sees (and is seen by strangers)/how one sees (and is seen by) those known intimately. ... (And are these not influenced significantly by one's self-worth?)

Saturn is the planet of childhood/adolescent conditioning ... and Uranus is the planet that asks us to move beyond that conditioning IF/WHEN (and only if/when) we are ready to do so. ... (And might that conditioning have impacted upon his self-worth?)

Transit Uranus is daring your husband to "disturb the world" (by throwing off his Saturn-conditioned safety blanket) - because (when his Soul in heaven wrote the natal chart/script of the current lifetime), NOW is when it was intended that he would be "ready".

Hence ... the only unknown factor here is "will the free-willed one-lifetime ego choose to pursue the untrodden path of Uranus, or to continue along the well-trodden path of Saturn?" (Which could also be expressed as "will the ego choose to lay down it's life for that of it's accompanying eternal Soul?")

However ... even this unkown has already been partially revealed ... by the decision/action of your husband when transit Uranus was qcx his natal Saturn.

So ... are you now feeling even more confident about Uranus being a benevolent planet for him/your relationship, hypatia?

Interesting so that makes sense, I should start the Journey in his chart and mine of Transit Uranus with the first planet or point it activates at the lowest degree! That is beautiful, it makes a lot of sense. Learned something new.

Interesting bc Transit Uranus activated first for us BOTH our Saturns in his case by quincux/inconjunction and in mine by opposition, I have saturn in scorpio at 2 degrees and saturn rules my 2nd house. Also tr Uranus is in my 5th house, this has coincided with him starting a business, we are getting rid of debt, financial situation has improved finally. It has led to restructuring for sure and stagnant energy finally getting unstuck. I feel right now he has karma with me involving money that he is working through but ultimately the two transits you pointed out earlier involving me pushing him and the crisis were about getting him to become independent again so that he can eventually be in a position of power so if we decide to separate we can do it in a way that is empowering to him. I am not saying we will separate but the idea is to set him up and have him grow so if he wants to he can walk away. When those two transits happen it was not in his interest to separate from me but it might be in his interest when tr Uranus hits his AC/DC angle. My intention since that first transit is to prepare him so he can if that is what he wants or so that I can bc I wouldn't be able to leave him if he is not in a much better and stronger place than when I met him. Tr uranus will make him strong and help him grow and work through stuff and become fully independent in multiple levels is what I am starting to see with your help and as Mirage29 pointed out he will finally feel self-fulfilled which is all I have ever wanted for him. I don't know how many times I cried in the past with him bc I knew he wasn't self-fulfilled and it broke my heart bc this has been a struggle for him for so long, I guess his wound (chiron).

He will grow stronger and stronger and our relationship and I will grow stronger along with it and either we will we remain together but our relationship will transform as he transforms and I will transform too or we will separate but with him in a position of strength and from a place he feels self-actualized and fulfilled!

Thank you so much for your help understanding all these transits he is going through and will go through, I do feel definitely more reassured. I have always loved Uranus transits, this was the first time I reacted in fear over an Uranus transit so thank you for helping me see the forest
