According to some aspects in my chart, I’ve forgotten which ones, I’m supposed to be “super-duper” good with “technology”.
Sure, I know how to install the newest iOS update and I even know how to read/fix electrical fault codes in a vehicle but do I find it FUN? No..

What’s FUN to me is:
Pondering on the human psyche, in general.
Reading about/listening to music
Driving cars

I’m trying to wean myself off anything related to psychology because as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that emotionally it doesn’t do me any good, although it comes natural to me.

I’m thinking if I spent all energy on something much more productive, as long as I like it, I’d laugh all the way to the bank! But what to look for in my chart? I feel kinda all over the place :-/

I've found that what's fulfilling and what's fun isn't always the same things. I don't always think my job is fun, but I find it satisfying and it feels like I was made to do it.

I'm a librarian. My Virgo Moon wants to organize things, make them all neat and orderly. My Virgo Moon likes patterns and routines. My 9th house Gemini Sun likes things to be stimulating and new. Searching through tons of information to find that little nugget that someone is looking for suits my Sun. Fittingly enough Mercury is on my Midheaven, along with Mars. All three are in Cancer. I couldn't be a librarian if I didn't have intuition and compassion... if I didn't like people and found them interesting. And, with my Pisces 6th house, I also need a peaceful workplace, and one where I can do what I feel like doing, when I feel like doing it.

I'd say that you need to look at what your chart tells you that you need, rather than what you find fun or what you are good at. What needs do your placements express?

Noel Tyl's Midheaven Extension Process identifies which planet qualities need to be present in a job/career/hobby for it to be satisfying.

You may already be familiar with that process (which basically identifies the dispositorhip chain of the planet which rules the sign on the MC.) ... However, to determine the most remunerative job, try using the same process for the ruler of the 6th house (of paid work).
