Probably not the same, but I have the inconjunct aspect... But my Venus also opposes Uranus and Neptune so it'll obviously alter it a bit. 1. Has this natal aspect influenced you, in your approach to all kinds of relationships, throughout your entire life; or rather after your Saturn Return? I'm 28 so haven't had my Saturn return yet... Although I do struggle with females specifically, not so much males. (I've read that Venus/Moon is more of a girls typa person vs Mars/Sun is more of a guys typa person, or interested in that respective energy - I have the latter so I guess that would make sense and I definitely feel different around females than I do around males, my freedom of expression is rather suppressed - typical Saturn characteristics) 2. Does this renowned negative aspect, cancel out the textbook expression of your Venus Sign, or its respective House Placement? I become very much like my Venus sign when I like a person, it definitely does NOT cancel it out. I try to keep it contained though and not 'lose' myself but the underlying (Cancer) flavor is definitely there I feel it really strongly. 3. Do you struggle with low self-esteem, no matter what anyone says? Not really "no matter what anyone says" I realize that the quality of my self esteem definitely depends on the people around me. It's said though that a first house Venus is caused by it since it's 'out there for the public' and your view of yourself is dependent on how they view you. 4. How do you feel about traditional values, commitment, marriage and family? Keeps on changing with each encounter lol I don't think I have a set feel about values. It literally changes with every person. That might be caused by the Neptune/Uranus opposition though. IP: Logged |

I have a venus-saturn square (4deg), with Saturn in the 7th. I have a pattern of choosing relationships that echo the emotional abuse I witnessed growing up. After my Saturn return, the lessons were much more obvious. I became consciously aware of the pattern in my ex and left him when Saturn was square (0deg) my natal Saturn, opposite my Venus, and conjunct my natal Neptune. 2. It's like having an angel-demon on the shoulder. Venus in gemini wants fun and flirting and words, Saturn in virgo picks away at the detail with lots of tutting to throw you off. To succeed, you have to find the middle ground - have the flirting, but stay grounded. 3. Do you struggle with low self-esteem, no matter what anyone says? Not as much now. Becoming aware of my patterns and how to spot red flags has given me confidence. On bad days, during sustained difficult periods, my confidence dips a lot. 4. How do you feel about traditional values, commitment, marriage and family? I like the idea of having solid commitment and believe it's possible as long as there is unconditional love present. I believe that not all marriages are intended to last, and that if the point comes where it's time to move on, both parties should be free to do that in a mature way rather than cheating and toxicity and unhappiness.
