For me personally, I'm staying single until I find a man who will be as serious and devoted to our relationship, as I would be; if that means ridin' solo until I'm 30 (8 more years), then so be it. My Sagittarius Moon loves singlehood!
I don't think this placement dominates my Cancer Venus/Mars conjunction per se; I find the Cancerian/Capricornian Mother/Father Archetypes/Family-Like approach to commitment and devotion, quite similar.

I also have this attraction to men who remind me of my (surprisingly, heavily Saturnian) father; in some way, shape, or form.

1.I take partnerships of any kind very seriously to the point they feel like a burden.

2 Absolutely.. both my Venus and Mars are in Leo (square Pluto though) and I'm never attracted to fiery signs. All my life I attract men with Capricorn and Scorpio planets and a tiny bit of Aqua (basically my 5th, 7th and 8th H signs). I could be with someone who has everything in Capricorn even if it wasn't my ideal (I love watery Moon especially Scorpio) but I couldn't be with a full Scorpio/Aqua man. So Cap wins in that sense.

3. Single by choice because I run away from real relationships (only had internet relationships). So in the end I choose my freedom because I feel like I'm suffocating. The only way for it to work is when the other person treats me like a friend (don't get me wrong I don't mean that I need to be friends first in order to fall for someone, it's more like I feel heavily attracted to someone and it's mutual but he has to treat me like a friend) and gives me pleanty of time. Aqua/Cap has that coldness/detachment that makes me feel so comfortable. All these have to do with Uranus and North Node conjuncting each other in 7th H though.

4. I've always been attracted to men who are 1.5-2 years older than me. I suspect it has to do with their Venus in Cap conjunct their Saturn.. Because they all have that combo and it falls in my 7th H.

5. Cap DSC is said to bring delay in marriage but I personally don't think it's a must to wait untill Saturn Return if you've found someone young and you've been living with him/her for 3-4 years. That goes for everyone though.. You won't be 100% sure that you're truly compatible with someone if you don't live under the same roof with him for 3-4 years after the initial stage wears off. And that goes for any person no matter their chart, the ones who should be very careful are: Sag/Aqua/Aries Moon paired with a Sag/Aqua/Aries Venus, Uranus in 7th H, North Node in 7th H, Neptune in 7th H especially if they haven't realised their need for freedom. Majority of them seems to realise it when it's late.
