I know it's technically considered their chart ruler being conjunct Uranus... But given that it's an outer planet that's conjunct it, is it actually considered as such? Not sure why, can't help but feel that it's not the same. But curious on any input?IP: Logged |

My gut feeling is that the traditional ruler of the Ascendant will INITIALLY function as the chart ruler - and be subsequently replaced in that role by the modern ruler if/when life experiences have (appropriately) changed the chart owner's values/views/beliefs/etc. However, even if Neptune is not the chart ruler here, its conjunction with Uranus will significantly soften how the latter expresses itself. ... So, although Uranus will still be open and uncompromising when expressing views/opinions, Neptune will prevent others from being offended by that directness. And ... as we are already seeing with the generation born during the last conjunction of Uranus and Neptune (in Capricorn) ... there will be a blending of innovation and imagination, enabling them to clearly see the need to "change the current status quo". Thanks, don't think I ever thought of it in that way. IP: Logged |
