Does ruler of MC and the house it is in/aspects to it show career strengths? Mine is Aries MC. Mars in Taurus in 10th house square sun/moon in 1st house. IP: Logged |

My 29 Gemini45 MC is ruled by Mercury in Scorpio/2rd, which makes a 88deg26mins square to Pluto in Leo/11th.I became an accountant (Scorpio/2nd house); worked primarily in the field of audit (Scorpio+Pluto) and led several audit teams/sections/departments (Leo/11th) in the course of my career. However ... Mercury also rules my natal chart, via a Virgo Ascendant. [Have you used Noel Tyl's Midheaven Extension Process, which aims to identify the career that will provide the most satisfaction (rather than material rewards)? If so, you will know already that he believes satisfaction can be achieved in careers that best fulfil the needs of all planets in the dispositorship chain (of the sign on the MC). ... And, my guess is that the same process for the sign on the 6th house (of paid work) might indicate the most materially rewarding career.]

Maybe not necessarily career "strength" per se. But how I measure myself according to the standards of my "higher self"(Mc).I have Mercury Cap in 10th opp Moon and square Mars. And the ruler of the 10th is Saturn (in Scorpio) conj Ven (Sco). I hold myself up to very high standards of intellectual competence(Mercury). I find myself very critical of the authority or of myself for not maintaining quality levels (Cap Mercury square Mars opp/Mercury opp Moon) This pov has an impact on my self esteem(2nd)and how I relate to people(7th).In that I tend to look to transform (as I am transformed) or change(as I am changed)in some way fundamental and critical(Scorpio) through my aspirations(10th), relations(7th) & value systems(2nd). Apparently Pluto/Scorpio/Mars in 2nd often reaches many junctures pertaining to moral(2nd) dilemmas (Pluto/Scorpio/Mars). Many revelations or revolutions (Mars/Pluto/Scorpio) that shake ones foundation(2nd) to its intrinsic core etc. a sort of death/birth of ones perceived security. Like you discover your boss is embezzling funds. The company you work for is fraudulent. Mom/Dad are criminals or your family is stripped off of its fortune. Or conversely hits a goldmine and becomes very wealthy. Pluto/Scorpio/Mars is profound resources of strength/grit or truth that are deep beneath the surface. One needs to "dig". All is not necessarily how it initially seems.There are hidden layers and secrets concealed from you.

I don't know how to interpret it:MC in Libra, his regent Venus at H10 but in Scorpio. Aspects:
-conjunct sun and mercury
-square jupiter

MC in Gemini, Mercury in Scorpio in the 3rd house.I'm a writer and a thinker, the latter should be considered a profession I do it so much. But I also have Mercury as the ruler of my ascendant with a stellium in house 3. IP: Logged |
