Hey Kannon! How important is the Draconic Chart compared to the Tropical Standard Chart? I'm trying to uncover my past lifetimes (relationships, experiences, etc.). Would it actually valid to use that chart or should I focus my efforts on another chart? Thanks!IP: Logged |

It's not important at all. I consider the draconic zodiac to be a speculative zodiac at best with a lot of fantastical claims attached to it in the attempt to make it more relevant. The tropical zodiac with declinations included is always prime. Astrology isn't really a good way to uncover past lives. It only ever addresses such things in symbols and generalities. You can go straight to a knowledge of past lives -- as it is relevant and useful to you in the moment -- by using hypnosis. I don't even bother with the draconic zodiac. It hasn't proved itself to me. Serious modern scholars like Chris Brennan don't buy it. It was supposed to have been recovered from some Babylonian text and Brennan says it was misinterpreted. Too often it's used to explain things astrologers are not seeing because they're not using declinations or they don't have an accurate Asc/aspects for the person. Worst of all is when sign-based astrologers use it and flip zodiacs here and there to quickly grab what they want to keep a superficial sign based approach for a quick-and-easy reading. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Regression hypnosis helped me to uncover a past life that was impacting upon my current life. Then ... armed with the details from that revelation/story ... I was able to see (the issues of) that past life depicted in the astrological indicators of my natal chart. And, that exercise helped me to understand how to synthesise a combination of astrological indicators.Hence ... I agree that astrology is not a good tool for uncovering past lives - but believe a past life "story" can be a useful tool for learning how to synthesise combinations of astrological indicators. I couldn't relax the first time, and only got vague things the second time. Did you have to try more than once, or did it work on the first try? IP: Logged |

The regression hypnosis produced two past-life-event experiences, which made no sense whatsoever to me at the time. Then ... a year or so later ... a clairvoyant explained that those events related to two past lives - with the first (as an eastern monk) having impacted upon the second, to create an issue that was now impacting upon the current incarnation. [In essence, the soul's aim in the second life was to experience life as a husband and father in the west, but he "ran away from that new experience" (to become a western monk). And, the difficulties that he then encountered (as the planets attempted to get him back on track) created new behavioural issues (which the soul intends to overcome in the current lifetime).] So ... I needed the regression hypnosis; the passage of time and the clairvoyant consultation to obtain the past-life-story which enabled me to finally grasp how to synthesise the indicators in an astrology chart. ... And, it was many years later before it dawned on me how the planets had steered me towards that outcome "when the pupil was ready".
