The transit North Node will soon conjunct my 12 Cancer ascendant and then will conjunct my 3 Cancer south node. What might this portend for me? Conversely, the transit South node will conjunct my DC and then my North Node-Moon conjunction in my 7th house.

I'd like to know the answer to this too.

The question is specifically about you, but when I looked back at when the North Node was conjunct my Ascendant, all I found was the month I got put on SSI. I developed cognitive impairment issues around the time of the North Node's conjunction to my Ascendant, which is what pushed me to get SSI.

Based on my experience, I assume this means the natal houses of your nodes are somehow related to this transit. Getting put on SSI is related to my South Node in Cancer in 8th house. Since I'm depending on the government for my income, it looks like I gave into my South Node. It was necessary though. I felt guilty for being an adult and felt that I needed to contribute financially to help my mom yet I wasn't anywhere near stable enough to have a job.

I'm also interested in what people will have to say about the conjunction to your South Node. My South Node in Cancer is around the same degree and I've wondered what to expect from the transit too.

I’ve heard that the NN transit to our first house causes indifference for 7th house related things.

I don’t think so for me. I’m the last person who’d ever not want a relationship. I’ll never be the type to say that I don’t want a relationship in my life. I wish I had one right now

I’m also a Cancer Rising, and would agree with you about the importance of significant others, but I’m not so quick to jump into a relationship just because I’m single. I also wish I had one (again) but I don’t get with people just for the experience of it, which so many people can: have their radars on, tuned into lust, then try to make a relationship out of it. Mine currently is off, I know I could get a guy in a heartbeat but there’s something missing in the people around me. I hope when NN transits the 12th house doesn’t further isolate me.

Surprisingly the 1st house transit I became more introverted.
