You could sense that song I shared made me cry huh?

With your song I see a path/road but its surrounded by leaves on the floor and I see someone bare footed walking on those leaves wanting to really feel the earth on his feet and reconnect with the earth.

I suppose the image I got matches the sentiment you are sharing but for me earth is home so perhaps that is why I got that image when I heard the song the first time, it has a grounding effect the song mixed in with nostalgia or THIRST for earth/home and wanting to slow down.

The road maybe is our journey here which can be fast paced and exciting but it also feels time is passing you by too quickly and he wants to slow down and experience earth or go back in time and slow down and re-live those moments he felt the most grounded and at home in.

I feel there is nostalgia with something pure and beautiful but is also hopeful, I feel there is hope in this song in some level, so is interesting in that you sense the nostalgia but also joy and hopefulness, you feel your vibration going up but also slowing down as you connect to the core of your heart.

Born in Belgium of a Belgian mother and Rwandan father who was killed in the Rwandan genocide, Stromae is in a class by himself. If David Bowie & Pharrell Wiliams had a child, it would be him.

This song snuck up on me! I stated listening to more post punk, goth, darkwave music as the days get darker and colder. This song was on a Polish Post Punk playlist I stumbled upon.
I was never nuts about the song at first. I was just like "okay sure"

But for like two days I could not get this song out of my head! I don't get it where this is coming from but it kind of cracks me up that I am randomly obsessed with this song to the point where I might blast it and sing it at the top of my lungs in my car or drunk clean/dance to this song at some point.

My dog still can’t walk, but he has been doing much better in ways. I was afraid of the worst, just before Christmas, but he isn’t having to be propped up as much as he was - he is currently curled up, and also on his stomach, so he can drink without us having to hold him up.

Now I can slide him back into another quilt, and he leans into me for a hug. I’ve missed that. 😭 I hate feeling like I need to wear a suit of armour around people. It was worse ?with my dog. And now I’m worrying him with my happy tears, so I have to stop.
