Have you seen this before? By unaspected I mean no major and minor aspects at all. Does this pose problems for a chart? Or does it emphasize the nodal development? Could this mean a karmic wild card, such as you choose where you want to go?

What would the impact be on an individual chart and how about a relationship chart with unaspected nodes?

Yes, I have seen this with clients. They do not know what their purpose is in the world. It is hard. One is very blessed with positive aspects to the nodes.

Is unaspected more difficult than the poorly aspected nodes?

That is a brilliant question, C. I can tell you are an on the ball person. To answer, I am not sure. Most people have some good and some bad aspects to the NN but I am not sure about your question. I do know that a sense of one's purpose really helps one be anchored in the world. Without one, it is harder.

I imagine that a poorly aspected NN would mean that the native knows their purpose but either doesn't have the means or ease to achieve it.

Would it be worse to know your purpose but never be able to accomplish it, or to not know at all and drift along?

Even with aspects to nodes people often don't know their purpose, so not sure if this will be some other dynamic. I would assume no planet provides a vehicle to integrate life's mission directly but how does one act in regards to the nodes? Or not act at all?

Always look in declination before applying such a label. Many charts have a planet parallel one of the lunar nodes.
