Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they as important as progressions or solar returns? IP: Logged |

No, they cannot stand alongside secondary progressions as a representation of astrological reality. They are symbolic fictions in which each body is directed at the rate of the Moon. In secondary progressions an Earth-based metaphor is used to move all planets in day-for-a-year-fashion in a way that preserves original Earth-planet synchronicity (so long as you use true 'quotidian' progressions). In the first method of tertiary progressions each day is made equivalent to a lunar month, no regard for original Earth-planetary synchronicity: symbolic fiction. You'll always find a group of enthusiastic astrologers who will swear by even the most outlandish of tools or predictive methods. http://www.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Tertiary_Progression ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Thank you! They did sit well with me as an accurate chart to begin with. Just double checking 👍 IP: Logged |

Excellent article and makes a lot of sense. I've read that a SR chart predict that years events but, when I checked my SR chart alone it made no sense until I compared it to my natal. Thank you! IP: Logged |
