Topic: What does moon parrallel Ascendant mean?

I just found out I have this aspect. What does it mean? and do parallels really affect your personality? I heard it's similar to a conjunction but Im not sure. Im new to all the chart declination stuff------------------

Don't you have moon in the 12th house? Well with moon parallel AC I would think that would neutralize some of the effects of moon in the 12th house. On one hand you're very private and don't show your emotions to others and on another hand you show emotions in your face. I would think you are very in touch with the different emotions in your immediate environment and need to protect yourself from that, sometimes you confuse the emotions from others that you pick up via osmosis with your own.IP: Logged |

Yes that's right my moon is in the 12th house(:
I do agree that I am very private with my emotions but I do think I show them on my face at times.
I do think I read people's emotions pretty well, but sometimes Im unsure if what Im sensing is true. IP: Logged |

You probably heard that from me right here in this forum, and yes, parallels are similar to conjunctions. Interpretations of the conjunction can be used for the parallel. To be certain you actually have this aspect you need (a) to use the topocentric position for the Moon, which can be more important in determining this aspect than with the conjunction; (b) a very accurate Asc figure measured not by a time on a document but by astrologically based confirmation in your biography/life events (as in rectification/chart validation): your chart timed to 5:23 am as you've posted here before does not have Moon parallel Asc. And then there is the orb to use, which I'd say should possibly be no more than 1.5° or so.
