The progressed moon is focusing the chart owners upon the natal sign and house that it is passing through. ... The NN transit will create an event which provides an opportunity for self/soul development.

For example, my progressed Moon is currently in Aquarius and progressed 4th/natal 5th houses - making no aspects to any natal planet. ... If transit NN was conjunct this progressed Moon, I might be presented with an opportunity to use creative thinking (5th+Aquarius) to resolve a family group (4th+Aquarius) issue/problem. ... And the development would come from retrospectively reviewing that event - to ascertain how I could have handled it better.
