Topic: ASC ruler conjunct Venus

Is this aspect an indicator of vanity? I'm literally so confused as to why I always like to look super good and I barely go out not looking presentable. The only time I know I have major problems in life is when I let myself go. But when I'm past all that stuff, I'm back to always looking my best. I have an obsession with beauty and I like things to look just right. I don't have any of the typical placements that would indicate beauty or vanity like Venus in the 1st or Sun conjunct Venus or Venus in aspect to ascendant. The only thing I have is my Mercury (asc ruler) conjunct Venus. I think it kinda makes sense because they both square Pluto which indicates the obsession. But also they're in Virgo so that might add to it. I have Mars in Libra but I'm not sure if that really affects it since Mars is your personal drive. IP: Logged |

Maybe its that Mars along with Venus, I have this one friend who has Mars in Libra and he is one vain motherfcker, even beats my multiple conjunctions involving Venus at it, selfies and all that sht everywhere, " anonymidarkness! plz one more shot right here, I'll pose infront of that" ....I'm like "again??......."Dude you should hire a cameraman or some sht...IP: Logged |

I have sun in the 1st, conjunct asc, asc conjunct venus, in leo, both sextile pluto and I couldn't care less what I look like 😂😍 it's all about how I feel and if I feel good, I'm happy ugly or undone.
You'll never catch me dirty though, unless at the end of a long sporty day, right before I wash the heck out of my being 😋 IP: Logged |

No. My birth chart has Asc (Virgo) ruler Mercury conjunct Venus, and I spend very little time on my appearance. quote:

These explain it more when taken all together. My wife has Venus square Pluto and usually goes to work without makeup and doesn't fuss much over appearance. Her Venus is in Cancer. So I'd say Venus in Virgo has more to do with it than you assumed and with it square Pluto those tendencies are reinforced. Perfectionism intensified. ------------------

venus is my chart ruler and conjunct my ascendanti care about my appearance in the sense that i groom myself and take care of my hair skin etc pay attention to what i eat and so on but i'll go to the store **** faced in pajamas and not give a **** i dont need things to look just right and im not self obsessed, no sense in all that i know people find me attractive so it doesnt really make a difference ultimately IP: Logged |
