No. I know a man with very close sq. He was even shy when he was young. I think he preffers women to lead. You need to consider the other aspects too. One girl with this square is more on player's side, but she has Venus sq Uranus too.IP: Logged |

Its better to avoid using words like all or never ect that indicate absolutes which I notice you do often...
...but I would agree that Jupiter in hard aspect to Venus tends to expand the Venus energy giving someone an inclination to want to be in more than one relationship at a time or to be able to love more than one person at a time, some act on this inclination unapologetically and others try to suppress it like in Franco's case who has lots of water, he ends the relationship when he feels that need to expand out and gets curious about others instead of cheating I guess. Many with this placement stay single too so they can be free to date whoever they want.

One aspect could mean inclination, not the absolute truth. Agree with Hypatia, try to avoid extreme judgments.
Also, it could manifest differently.

To look at it another way, Jupiter is the planet of expansion, so it tends to exaggerate or amplify (especially with the square) the traits or tendencies of whatever it touches. That much Scorpio is pretty sobering, and so with Venus it may just exaggerate his Scorpionic tendencies while in love - possessive, jealous, suspicious, fearful, etc.I've also seen it explained that Jupiter represents a code of ethics, or holding yourself to a higher standard (hence why some heavily Sag/Jupiter folks can come across as very preachy). Instead of interpreting Jupiter in the 7th for instance as being a position where that person will have multiple relationships, you can see it as that person approaches their relationships from a very ethical point of view so whatever code of ethics they abide by is the one they will project (i.e. being faithful). You can't say that one aspect will play out in any which way definitively I don't think. Side note, in my own experience I know Taurus Moon folks to be very faithful once they have "made up their mind" so to speak and have decided to devote themselves to one person. They are stubborn, hard to move and are above all creatures of comfort and pleasure so harmony is of the utmost importance to them. IP: Logged |

Jupiter is far deeper than many seem to give it credit for. I often say, to really understand Jupiter's core meaning, vibe, and archetype, if you blend about 55/60% Sagittarius with about 45/40% Pisces, this will help one to have a better understanding. Jupiter is less fiery, self centered, Yang, and is more spiritual, feeling oriented, intuitive/psychic, and deeper than Sagittarius but more active, Yang balanced, and not quite as "mystical" or emotional as Pisces. If we can think in metaphorical color terms, Sagittarius is like a medium sort of towards a magenta purple, mid Pisces is true violet, and Jupiter is like a royal purple. The difference between all of them is a difference in red to blue balance/ratio, as well as depth of color. Sagittarius being lighter colored and more red blended than Jupiter and Pisces, and Jupiter being a bit more red blended than Pisces. Sometimes you think you are a certain way but after been over 4 years with the same person you start to feel that jupiter square venus or whatever other placement or aspect along those lines and you realize you are more restless in relationships than you thought although you might still stick it out. Not everyone knows themselves well, there are aspects of ourselves we are not fully aware of until we are so someone telling you they are not a certain way does not necessarily mean that they are not nor does it mean they are lying, it just means they are not aware of that. My favorite uncle has Venus conjunct Jupiter tight and he looooooooves women very much, notice how "loves" is plural. He felt in love once all the way and married her but it didn't last bc he cannot love just one woman so she left him. I have DC ruler in the 9th and I love many guys deeply, I cannot love only one person and I love unconditionally, my heart expands the more I love and imo that is how Jupiter rolls. IP: Logged |

Person I know with Venus sq Jup. prefers relationships too. Even the girl with Venus sq Jup./ Uranus wouldn’t like friends with benefits arrangement. She likes to have men attention, but she gives her serious attention only to one of them.
