I'm not sure specifically about laughs a lot and even at small things, but for Planets: Jupiter, Moon, Sun, Venus, and/or Mercury (as an adjunct, not a primary) strong often show up in people with a good sense of humor and liking to smile, laugh, and/or joke more than the average. Sign wise: Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces seem to show up a lot. Capricorn more so in folks nearing middle age and beyond--that whole Benjamin Button archetype which does seem to have some average truth to it (Capricorn seems to open up it's heart more and more as it gets older). Uranus is interesting in that it can go either way. I've found Uranians to tend towards a bit manic at times, which means they can be rather depressed, low energy, apathetic at times, but they also have fits of joy, laughter, positivity, and sometimes even downright hilarity, and they swing back and forth between the extremes and very little time being balanced or moderate. This btw, is rather different than Aquarius patterns, which generally are much more steady, balanced, and consistent. Just goes to show that Planets don't = Signs and Signs don't = Planets necessarily. Humor is an interesting subject. Clearly in some cases, humor, especially in the sense of comedians and the like, can be a cover for deep insecurity (and a deep need for attention from others) and a defense mechanism to deal with life (I see this more in the Lunar and/or Cancerian types), but it can also be an expression of heart openness and greater Spirit alignment (that's more Sun, Jupiter, etc). Cayce's guidance emphasized that Yeshua ("Jesus") had quite a sense of humor, and loved to laugh and crack jokes. They even said that on his way to Calvary he was cracking jokes (having overcome the heaviness earlier), and this is what infuriated the Jewish and Roman authorities the most, was him cracking jokes and being light hearted when they wanted him to be broken not just in body but also in spirit. Jupiter-Asc, Jupiter-Moon. My wife is quite jovial, laughs often and loud. She has Jupiter parallel Asc and Jupiter widely opposite Moon. This may also show as Sagittarius factors, but the Moon is more involved. Moon in Sagittarius, etc. ------------------

I laugh all the time, people always associate me with good humor and a jovial attitude. I think I have almost every classic aspect that points to this:
5 planets in Sagittarius
5 planets in the 3rd house (Gemini energy)
Jupiter sextile ascendant
Jupiter sextile moon
Jupiter conjunct venus/mars

I'm always known for laughing and people generally associate me as a happy-go-lucky person because I'm always seen smiling or they can hear me laughing from the other room.I also tend to nervously laugh when I'm in an awkward situation. Rising in Sag (opposing my Moon in Gemini)

I laugh and joke a lot. Sometimes funny scenes play out in my mind and I'll giggle to myself, or I'll make light of a stressful situation and make everyone laugh. I've Moon in Sagittarius trine Aries Jupiter which sextile Gemini ASC. IP: Logged |
