I have been reading a lot of doom and gloom about the upcoming pluto-saturn conjunction in January 2020, which naturally has me worried as at the same time, pluto and saturn will be conjunct with my natal saturn...How do you guys think this would manifest? What should I do to prepare? My transit chart for the date of January 26 2020: IP: Logged |

Hello! I will be experiencing this as well, in the 12th house.I am just taking the stance of staying positive, no matter what life throws my way. I believe you never experience anything you cannot handle, and the ultimate result will be positive. Que será, será Whatever will be, will be... Try not to worry too much, takes up too much space for happiness IP: Logged |

Hi! I will be going through this as well in January in my 6th house. Not sure what it means but guessing it could be job related since I just left my previous job. Yours in your first house could mean maybe something personal or an internal shift since the first house is to do with self? IP: Logged |

I have it natal, why do you dread it so much?

I guess it is mostly because of all the posts that are out there about the January 2020 saturn-pluto conjunction and all the doom and gloom they talk about in those. Guess I will have to wait and see though IP: Logged |

Yes, I should do the same. Jupiter will also be conjunct my ascendant at the same time, which I hope will temper any negative effects. IP: Logged |

We were born the same year - I was born a couple of months after you, actually. We're all going through this together. I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's a slow moving long-term transit that will have lasting effects on our entire generation. Certainly not anything to lose sleep over. It will be interesting to see what happens, what kind of changes occur that will influence our age group, though.IP: Logged |

First, make sure you're not reading descriptions of the mundane astrology of this conjunction and assuming any of that applies to you on a personal level. Co-create on a mental plane while in a state of meditative peace that you use this window of opportunity for the most benevolent outcome for yourself and all affected. ALL transits are windows of opportunity if we use them that way. This transit is a continuation of a general process of personal development which is a bit more concentrated at doing a few things: (a) starting a new cycle of responsibility purging old worn out notions of duty, obligation, inhibition, etc, that are not serving you, (b) increasing your strength and stamina, (c) help you discover empowerment through taking control of your life proactively There is no reason whatsoever to fear the time of the exact or near exact conjunction as depicted in this transit chart. Pluto has been already in transit conjunct your natal Saturn for a couple years now so there are clues about its process. Saturn joining it just brings it home in a more personal, material way. However, this transit does involve how you deal with fear and if you let it weaken or strengthen your resolve. Let's break it down piece by piece ... Natal Saturn in Capricorn = work, goals, standards/structures of material development that are contained in your parental/paternal relationship. contains seeds of fear of failure, being inadequate, etc, which relates to self-worth. The more your self-worth is tied to what you've done the harder transits to/by Saturn are. Transiting Pluto = transformation, change towards aims that last beyond death, empowerment. Transiting Saturn = change, limits, cutting action (sickle, sythe) intended to harvest what is good, throw out what is of no use. You'll quite probably have to become more resourceful during this period, but especially recognizing more of your inner resources of strength and tenacity. This dual transit of Saturn & Pluto at 21-22° south declination is also parallel natal Neptune and contra-parallel natal Jupiter. So it is pretty complex. I recommend you at least understand the Neptune part as I cover in this article: http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/2019/07/22/plutos-transit-conjunct-parallel-natal-neptune/ It will be complex enough that there's no way to really frame up in any sort of literal terms what to expect. Use the opportunity proactively by co-creating the results as I mentioned above. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

You don't need to worry. The idea of the Saturn Return is to work towards becoming the best version of yourself. Figure out the deficiencies in your life and work towards correcting them. If you are terrible at money management, then learn to save and invest. If you are at a dead-end job that you hate, then figure out what career you want. If you are in an unwilling relationship, then work on that or end it. This is your time to focus on growing up and make necessary changes. I've had Pluto and Saturn both transiting my first house for quite a while now. It was very tough at first, but I just kept working hard and now my life is fabulous. Don't let this transit scare you. Wow thank you for this. I very much relate to what you have written here and to your post. You're right I have been dealing with these energies for a while now, at least the past year.
