Hi! Wow, sorry your surgery went so wrong. I had plastic surgery about 7 years ago, and while the surgery itself went fine, I got a very bad infection back at home, which required multiple corrective surgeries over the next 2 years.
So I looked some things up. Don't know if that helps, but it was a new moon in Pisces that day conjunct transiting Neptune and transiting Chiron. I was there for a breast augmentation.
This website mentions some better and worse options for a date: http://earther-rise.com/how-to-elect-the-best-time-for-surgery/
It also says avoid moon in hard aspect to natal planets. So maybe wait for a day the moon makes supportive aspects to your planets - if possible.
So I was actually going to say I don't really know much about Chiron, but it looks like it could play a part.
Since you're getting surgery for your nose, which is ruled by Taurus, I guess try to avoid a day with the moon either there or in its opposite, Scorpio? If it's more about the bones, then Capricorn/Cancer.
Hmm maybe it's kinda cheating - can you ask for a specific time of the day? Then maybe the Sun may have already crossed your natal Chiron.
Venus conj natal Sun, trines with Jupiter and Mars (cutting/surgery) sounds very nice and supportive, though! Intuitively, I feel especially Jupiter would help.
Good luck picking your date and I really hope it'll all go smoothly this time. It's hard enough to recover from surgery, especially with an infection on top of that!
