that being said i have venus conjunct my ascendant and moon opposite and just had saturn all over back and forth squaring them and now it's on my ic about (also have my nn on my descendant)

pluto has been on my ic for a while now and will continue to be

got out of a relationship i was in for almost half my life back in july the went on a bad date afterwards, and now i've more recently met someone else i've been getting to know and taking **** sortof slow with

i can't really relate to what you're saying because i'm fine with being alone, but also it's only a couple of months total where i havent had something going on or starting etc with someone since i was a teenager

i actually had it in my head that i was going to stay single for a while, but it's not looking that way and things are unexpectedly in a weird limbo with someone already

yeah i can be happy on my own, sometimes it's preferable

i don't really see happiness as something that's always tied to outside sources or circumstances because it can just be a general sense of contentment and peace that comes from within

people who need a specific kind of relationship in order to be happy will never truly be happy even if they have a relationship because they're internally lacking and putting way too much on another person to make them feel something they can't on their own

completely unfair to the other person and it creates an imbalance in the relationship anyway

i have libra rising with libra venus conjunct but i also have a virgo sun, leo mercury, aries moon, and cap mars

Ahhh I see well that’s awesome regardless you got venus opposite moon. And I’m guessing your moon in Aries conjunct the descendant right? I’m moon in Aries too!! But not conjunct the my descendent it’s in my 7th conjunct the vertex Square my northnode.

I’m assuming since you got north node conjunct the descendant that relationships will be a huge theme for you throughout your life. I only say that because my brother also has north node conjunct his descendant in Taurus and he has always been committed/in love with a girl all his life, he’s never been single, attracting girls has always been so easy for him.

Yeah the Saturn transit I agree with you I felt it was very growth oriented for me as well since Saturn was square my moon and conjunct my 5th and 6th ruler consistently during the direct and retrograde period. Saturn seems to give this mature / like its time to grow up / get your **** together influence when I’m hard aspect to a personal planet in our natal.

yeah aries moon on the descendant, it's part of a kite and a t-square with venus (the kite is moon, mercury, uranus and venus and the t-square is moon, venus, mars)

yeah i was in an open relationship (we lived together for 14 years though, it was serious) for almost 15 years up until this past july so from 18- almost 33, knew her since we were 12

during that relationship i had another gf and a few friends with benefits

went on a ****** date with this guy not long after the break up when the retrograde square was exact

met someone else recently things are sort of in limbo with but there's a lot there and it's heading somewhere serious

it's just sort of ends up being how things go, and relationships just sort of happen unexpectedly, always with a lot of karmic ties and whatnot attached

even my friendships tend to end up being fairly intense or people will come and go in my life but there's always some purpose or thing attached

just how it is

i have saturn square sun natal and my mars is in cap (along with some minor aspects to saturn from venus/ascendant and my moon) so i already have some saturn garbage there already

which mightve made it easier idk, because even the worst of it didn't seem all that bad in general

yeah i think it's a bit of an unfair judgement because one of the biggest parts of a relationship is balance and that doesn't happen when someone is looking to the other person to fill a hole in themselves

i appreciate relationships when i'm serious about one i'll build my life around it and do what i can to make things work etc because that's what's fair but that doesn't mean i need one

relationships mean compromise, being able to step back and give parts of yourself for the benefit of the whole, working as a unit etc and that's a lot of ******* work when the other person isnt complete within themselves or you arent good with yourself

enjoying your own company is important because otherwise it's like you said a lot of selfishness when it comes to other people

That's cool. I relate to a lot of events you went through as I personally had some similar experiences. My 7th ruler is also mars in Capricorn lol but its conjunct mercury exact and square my ascendant exact as well. Sounds like we have some stuff in common since you mentioned friendships being intense and ending so suddenly. However I changed so much and am thankful for all the breakups and people leaving my life so suddenly. I'm sure you can relate as well since we are always evolving. Unfortunately, some people don't.

i'm grateful too i see it like people come and go and things happen because they need to and i've learned something from all of them

i also don't think someone being in your life or not changes whatever connection is there

i'm pretty good company for myself so i don't really mind it, i'm perfectly content to be by myself, but i have health issues that have come with being alone a lot at points

i think it's great when people make each other happy, and they should i just don't think it happens in a healthy way when they're totally dependent on the other person for happiness

like you said another person shouldn't be your happy pills

i think having a tendency to be fair and balanced towards other people is good for relationships so libra placements aren't often alone and people mistake that for not feeling whole on any level without another person

relationships are important don't get me wrong, but it's a matter of balance even with that
