What would make someone wonder about choices made or not made? As 2020 approaches, I think back and wonder what I could have done differently in 2019--or even further back. If you could travel back in time, what advice would you have for your younger (12, 13, or 14 ish ) self? I dare you to post it. Here's my list:1. Eat more salad. 2. Drink less sodas. 3. Give more. 4. Take less. 5. Go to your prom. 6. Stand up for that kid you will see get bullied in high school. He has no friends. You can make all the difference. 7. Take those chances. Don't let a single one slip by. 8. Ask her out. 9. Believe in yourself. You are more talented than you know. 10. Don't stop playing the violin. 11. Spend more time with your dad. He passes far too early. 12. Don't hold grudges. Forgive everyone. 13. Love with careless abandon. Love like you will never get hurt. Don't hold back. 14. Don't waste your time worrying about your future. You turn out great. You would be proud of you, and so would your dad. IP: Logged |

Recognise, and accept that :-1. Employers (or they who pay the piper) have a right to call the tune. 2. In reality, others always know you better than you know yourself. 3. The yellow snow does not taste better than the common-or-garden white snow. IP: Logged |

That's just what I've heard, that Saturn going through natal 12th house is an especially diffuclt one. Has anybody had this? I would like to know whether it's really that bad. Is that the time people spend regretting their past mistakes and loosing people, things in their lives ending? Sounds also like a depression transit or nostalgia at best.IP: Logged |

Chances are, if it's really difficult, then the Ascendant is actually earlier and it's conjoining the Ascendant and/or in the 1st House instead. Ime, T. Saturn conjoining the ASC and transiting the 1st is one of the most testing and difficult periods/cycles that I've gone through. Saturn gets ultra highlighted and active during such a cycle. It was more testing and challenging in nature than the Saturn return, which happened a handful of years later. 12th House area of the chart, unless near the Ascendant point, is typically a rather passive area of the chart. Meaning, it's almost like Planets in these areas feel and look submerged or seemingly disappear when here. Certainly there are and can be difficult aspects to 12th House patterns, but for Saturn, it tends to be one of the quieter cycles. Again, nothing amplifies or highlights like the Ascendant point/1st House, which is like a giant magnifying lens area of the chart. MC/10th House is next most magnifying/amplifying/highlighting area of a chart. Other Angles and the 5th House to a lesser extent. IP: Logged |

I took a close look and I don't remember any of my times focusing on past mistakes and the like (or going home after years, etc) being at a time when Saturn was transiting my 12th House. If I did manage to get myself early enough, child-me would get a bucket load of advice, including legal, and my life would've been very different as a result (I don't think child-me would balk, especially with all the scifi/fantasy I read even at a very young age, and might feel refreshed to have someone who genuinely had her best interest at heart rather than just pretending to while also telling her the truths she needed to hear even though some would be scary, and it would be all the worse if say I only got an hour with her and didn't have a chance to prepare). In that case I don't see how I could've ever read books by Linda Goodman or found my way to LL, among many other differences. That doesn't mean I wouldn't. Synchronicity can be a funny thing and maybe the time line I experienced would've "self-corrected" somehow (and as I'd share the good with the bad if I could, then maybe child-me would grow to somehow interact with these people anyway, or explore subjects I otherwise wouldn't). Of course I think it would be better, but with different skills and interests it might not be, and I might've been crippled or killed in a car wreck, etc. Or maybe it would be a wonderful life, indeed, and what would be great is that I'd know it, though I'd miss some of the great people I've met (though I'm sure I'd meet some other great people I never did in this life, and who knows, maybe I could have the best of both worlds without the worst). A few months ago I did have the oddest feeling that I was marginally aware of an alternate-me in a universe where I grew up with my grandmother instead of what happened (and that we were both washing clothes at that same exact moment). Long story short, I think we'd be fascinated by each other's life, but still glad to be who we are instead. IP: Logged |

I once read about people sending thoughts/intentions back to their younger selves. It was either in The intention Experiment, or another book by the same author. IP: Logged |

I really enjoyed reading that, PJ. I think sometimes the path would be the same, despite a different detour or two. What I should have said is not to let my brother carry my violin. He dropped it and broke it. We couldn't afford another one. Had I continued playing, I would not have dropped out of school, and I definitely would be a different person now. IP: Logged |

For me it was a pain in the butt, in the 12th that is, despite having Saturn in Pisces myself, was also going through T. Neptune conjunct Saturn at the same time. Saturn conj. ASC didn't do much to me on the other hand, had an incomplete dental work done(I just threw the braces out of the window), and started studying a new subject lets say. IP: Logged |

GalacticCoreExplosion,Probably because anything that's transiting an angular house is felt more, so much more prominant and at the foreground. Does Saturn transiting your 1st house make you feel older, like you feel that NOW is the time to act like a true responsible adult and not even that (feel like) - you are maybe even forced by life to be more responsible and accountable for everything you do? Oh, and on the plus side people who want to lose weight are very likely to be successful with Saturn going through their 1st house You have touched on 5th house and interestingly I actually dread Saturn transitying my 5th house in 2 years time. But then, it's because natally I have Moon, Venus and Mars there. Imagine that.. IP: Logged |

But back to the topic, Randall, I was thinking about it in term of signs.. Past - Cancer. And eclipses this years were on Cancer/Capricorn axis. Reflection on the past..they could do that to a person for sure.IP: Logged |

Sounds like Neptunian transit aspecting the moon or sun by trine, sextile or conjunction.

I didn't think a placement or transit would be responsible for this. Almost all people either live in the past, or the future in their minds. There's really only one activity where people are in living in the actual moment. IP: Logged |
