I had to smile and reply seeing this post...

My Cancer sun parents are spending new years eve on the hobby farm they purchased (South of Peterborough, Ont)

Every new years eve they make it a must to spend time at home.

They say what you do on new years eve is what you'll end up doing for the rest of year. So they much prefer to spend the entire year with the comforts of being in there own home for the year.

Suffice to say there true Homebodies.

i only have a cancer midheaven in tropical and i hate being outside in the winter im basically a shut in the entire season

Cancer sun here and I am! My partner is cancer sun and rising and he needs to stay very busy but his idea of being out and about is running errands! He can’t stay home the entire day, not even for one day. But he has no desire to be out on the town. We usually spend our time together at the house or running errands for the house, cooking, etc

I love home.

Cancer Sun, Venus, Mercury and no, I do NOT like to be inside at all! I enjoy all aspects of "weather" and will dress accordingly My husband with a progressed Moon in Cancer seems to be having a homebody period as is his natal Cancer Moon, Venus, Asc daughter. She permanently likes to be inside :-/ I suspect it's because she doesn't like to get/feel dirty.
