Even if it's not aspected... Do you feel you have trouble merging the energy of those 2?

As an example, my Moon (in Gemini) will feel light for the most part about the idea of interacting... Up until I actually start caring for that person... When I basically start acting like my Venus (in Cancer). It's really uncomfortable, the care I feel for them just doesn't mesh with my Gemini traits which is just cringing at this entire 'touchy-feely' interaction. But I can't help to feel what I'm feeling, as far as the care and I naturally can't act like my Moon sign then either cuz it feels player'ish which is not what my Venus wants to feel. This entire thing just weirds me out about loving in general, cuz I feel that what people start liking about me in the first place is my lightness, then this Cancer Venus. I just feel that I can't be myself fully. Cuz at one point they'll realize that I'm a complicated mess lol.

But anyway, yeah I'm curious how do you people deal with this, just ugh.

Could the midpoint sign or planet in aspect to that sensitive point offer a solution?

Do you mean an out-of-sign conjunction, or just placed in the adjacent signs?

My sister has Moon in Pisces, and Venus in Aquarius. Moon squares Mars in Sagittarius, and Venus opposes Saturn and sextiles Mars.. I think it also squares Jupiter. So all of that affects the planets.

I have Moon conjunct Venus in Gemini, and am not a player. I like the affectionate stuff, but am somewhat guarded.

Not a conjunction, just placed in adjacent signs. Like your sister I guess, but in my case my Mars is also in Cancer (not conjunct).

I think player is the wrong word to use I guess, what I meant was the energy expression takes a huge turn from where it was at. And when I try to act it out in that (Gemini) way again it forces me to feel different about the dynamic. So it's either I act complicated and feel closer or I act as in my natural energy (which is my rising too) and don't feel as connected. It's always a struggle for me.

Why do you feel guarded, do you have Saturn or something aspecting that conjunction or what house is it in?

Actually I think my ascendant conjuncts that midpoint, two degrees off or something.

I'm not sure how to channel it differently though, I guess the other person would need to aspect that midpoint in order for it to not feel so. Or maybe I'm lucky that it's my ascendant, and I probably naturally tune into it without noticing. But it still feels like a personal struggle I guess. I have to always be objective and tell myself to 'be cool about it'. Or maybe I'm just b!tching lol and everyone feels the same (my Gemini traits kicking in now 🤨🤨

You said something very crucial there. Something that I have been saying since forever i.e the asc is a natural expression but not necessarily one that the native is "conscious" of.

The Asc is the natural expression of self that the native progressively becomes conscious of through continuously interacting with the external environment throughout their life.

What sign is your Asc? What's the ruler? Where is the ruler situated? I think by exploring these questions, you will find where this energy is expressed.

And by becoming conscious of it,you can learn how you merge your wants(Ven)with needs(Moon)

For example, my Moon and Venus have their midpoint in the 6th house. But then again that is where my Sun/Moon midpoint also is-though the former is in Virgo and latter in Libra.

So being productive, having a schedule/ routine, self improvement, intellectual self-discernment etc. Are crucial to both my needs and wants.

Does this mean I should search for a Virgo? NO. It means however that regularity, scheduling and habitual pattern formation is crucial to emotional(Moon) and social(Ven) well-being.

I may also need to spend time alone to recuperate and replenish. The opposite of Virgo is Pisces after all. And Pisces is about isolation.

I'm realizing now (gosh never looked at this part before)... There was this one guy that I was really into. Obviously I tried to find it in synastry, but I'm realizing now that his Venus and Mercury trines/sextiles my Moon/Venus midpoint (which is my ascendant). But his Venus also conjuncts that ascendant ruler of my Moon/Venus midpoint.

Thanks so much for the awareness.

My ruler Mercury in the 11th and it makes sense what you're saying, cuz I feel like if I'm not stimulated mentally I can't be talking to them. And it goes much deeper than this which I didn't realize. That since my Mercury is also sextile my ascendant, people activating my Mercury, ruler of ascendant potentially also do so my ascendant which is the midpoint of my Moon/Venus. Just wow.

Thank you. What a revelation I'll be contemplating on this for a bit.

I guess afterall I should probably be happy with the fact that if I'm stimulated mentally I'll be emotionally too. Just the other person 😬😬 that's what I'm more edgy about, my stuff being stimulated and them being indifferent to that fact. AKA acting Cancerian when they expected something along the lines of Gemini.

I guess it being my ascendant means I should just be myself 🤓 if I wanna feel good. All jokes aside it's actually true, I feel best when I go out there and just talk to people, however tough it is (my twelfth house placements being a contributor to this), once I'm in the zone I can go on for some time. I do burn out but it's energizing I guess for multiple reasons.

I realized the other night, that the Mercury of someone I like, is conjunct my Sun/Moon and Sun/Venus midpoint. One of the few that I can remember. Another person's Sun/Moon is close to my Moon/Jupiter and Venus/Jupiter midpoint, which is also close to my descendant.

I need another (hopefully free) program to check my midpoints and minor aspects. I used to have one, but it doesn't work anymore.

I have Moon in Gemini and Venus in Taurus.

Gemini has a cooling effect on my temper and this results in me moving on from things quicker instead of holding grudges whereas my Venus in Taurus gives me staying power, especially in a relationship.

Taurus and Gemini combine surprisingly well for me, but the only problem I've noticed is I'm still loyal to a fault and this applies no matter how bored I get.

In a relationship, it's very important that my partner and I communicate on a regular basis. Communication is important in any relationship, really, so it doesn't exactly clash with my Venus in Taurus.

Mental stimulation is another thing I need on a regular basis, but I don't need a romantic partner for that. This said, it significantly increases the chance for a lasting relationship with me. My boredom threshold is disturbingly low and it's easy for me to get bored at that. So, someone being able to mentally stimulate me would help with this.

Having Moon in Gemini and Venus in Taurus seems to balance me out. I'd otherwise be more irritable and argumentative and I'd hold grudges.

I don't, personally, experience Moon in Gemini as being very light since my Moon in Gemini is in 8th house.
