What do you sense about having Neptune in the 12th house?

My example shown is Nikola Tesla:

He had Neptune in Pisces too.

One of the things that stand out when thinking about it, is usually early in age, Neptune hits the AC.

The following quote caught my attention:

"He is also reputed to have been born in a thunderstorm".
http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Tesla,_Nikola

That made me think of an event when I was a child about 5 years old.

My mother was walking behind me towards the kitchen, so I know she saw it too and because I asked her.

All of the sudden, a bolt of lightening flashed in front of me, across ways, on a clear day.

The bolt came through a large window from left to right.

It hit a wall close to the washer and dryer area on the right.

No damage was done.

It scared the _piss out of me.

Later chart fits Tesla much better.

Dude was 6'2" and very skinny/light weight (dude only weighed like 140 and some change). Very unlike Taurus Rising archetype which is thick, short to average, square, and more powerfully built, but very much like Uranus conjunct the ASC. For someone born when he was, 6'2" would be equivalent to around 6'4" or so today i.e. unusually tall.

Tesla was obviously involved with electricity quite strongly. Uranus is the symbol that most correlates with electricity.

His personality was very overtly and obviously eccentric, which fits Uranus far better than Pluto which is far more hidden, subtle, and "mask" oriented.

Uranus is also more acutely psychic than Pluto, and Tesla was quite intuitive. Interestingly, Edgar Cayce was born around a similar time frame as Tesla, was also 6'2" and very skinny for most of his life, was unusually psychic, and had Uranus conjunct his ASC.

And Aquarius MC with the ruler of same conjunct the ASC would fit much better as well than Capricorn MC.

It is beyond obvious to me, from a holistic logical standpoint, that Telsa had Uranus closely conjunct his ASC.

I'm just saying that the astro.com chart is obviously off and that he obviously has a later ASC closely conjunct Uranus.

Interesting aside, both Tesla and Edison, reportedly received readings from Cayce, according to the biographer Sidney Kirkpatrick.

The midpoint of Uranus and Jupiter are on his AC.

If you have the time and interest, try playing around with a 26 to 28 degree Taurus Rising chart. This would be also closely cusping Gemini, which along with Uranus conjunct his ASC, fits his looks and personality better. Besides all the other stuff mentioned earlier about Aqua MC, etc.

I edited a reply after calculating the Uranus and Jupiter midpoint. What do you think now?

He'd be like a Super-Uranian with a Pluto kicker.

I have Sag Neptune 12H. Loosely conjunct my NN/ASC...and it actually aspects a good majority of my planets and angles. Also Chiron.

Are you just trying to figure out what this placement is like?

Yes, through your experience preferably, but what you sense is good too.

Interesting timing regarding the placements in his chart, considering the resurgence of interest in his work. (Current transits to his placements make meaningful connections.) Adds credence for this particular Astrodienst chart.
.. After reading the biography, even to the Chiron AQUARIUS in his 10th.
Thanks for posting the chart.

Your incident--
Might the lightning you described coming through your kitchen, be similar to a Fireball? I've heard those kinds of stories before.

Galactic.. Yeah, Cayce 'attracted' those.
Amazing how he had a hand in many things that came into use now, in our more modern times--
.. including the prototype for League of Nations, that later became The United Nations!

"Might the lightning you described coming through your kitchen, be similar to a Fireball?"

There was nothing audible and it was too fast to see a shape, like a ball.

But it was a clear day so likely some type of atmospheric discharge related to something in the house.

Transit Neptune hit his natal AC when Tesla was 19 on his birthday in 1875.

“During my boyhood I had suffered from a peculiar affliction due to the appearance of images, which were often accompanied by strong flashes of light. When a word was spoken, the image of the object designated would present itself so vividly to my vision that I could not tell whether what I saw was real or not. . . . Even though I reached out and passed my hand through it, the image would remain fixed in space."

“In trying to free myself from these tormenting appearances, I tried to concentrate my thoughts on some peaceful, quieting scene I had witnessed. This would give me momentary relief; but when I had done it two or three times the remedy would begin to lose its force. Then I began to take mental excursions beyond the small world of my actual knowledge. Day and night, in imagination, I went on journeys — saw new places, cities, countries, and all the time I tried hard to make these imaginary things very sharp and clear in my mind. I imagined myself living in countries I had never seen, and I made imaginary friends, who were very dear to me and really seemed alive.

“This I did constantly until I was seventeen, when my thoughts turned seriously to invention. Then to my delight, I found I could visualize with the greatest facility. I needed no models, drawings, or experiments. I could picture them all in my mind . . ."

“By that faculty of visualizing, which I learned in my boyish efforts to rid myself of annoying images, I have evolved what is, I believe, a new method of materializing inventive ideas and conceptions. It is a method which may be of great usefulness to any imaginative man, whether he is an inventor, businessman or artist."

From a quote in the previous post:

"This I did constantly until I was seventeen, when my thoughts turned seriously to invention."

Here is his birthday transit chart when he turned 17.

Notice transit NN and transit Pluto on his natal Uranus.

I remember a lot when I was young. I am known in my family for having a really good memory. Things I wished I kind of wish I didn't remember or even better if it never happened lol

But do you mean like paranormal activity? With that, ironically no, which is strange given how many planets I have in the 12th house. I only remember one time when I was little, thinking I saw like a green hand with claws coming onto the bed in the middle of the night, I was terrified and I screamed. But I don't know why I saw that, maybe it was an illusion? But I am terrified of ghosts and anything of that like, it's probably a blessing I haven't experienced much paranormal activity because I couldn't handle it lol. I remember when I was little my sister claiming to see a scary ghost (ironically she has this placement too) and I couldn't sleep the whole night but she slept like a baby. I was the only one in my family scared of the ghost I guess.
Even as write this Im getting scared lol I still sleep with a night light 😂

Oh yeah and maybe it's worth mentioning that I used to do this weird thing when I was little, where I'd stare into space, and imagine myself not existing, like being there but not physically there. I don't really know how to explain it, but it was such a strange feeling.. maybe like an out of body experience.. I don't know. But I'd get a strange feeling from doing that, and I don't even know why I did that. I was probably only like 5 or 6. I still wonder what it was.

Found this description of 12th house Neptune on a website, and I resonate with it a lot

"Neptune in 12th house feels at home, since Neptune rules dreams, visions and imagination – a 12th house realm. The result is that you may have a strong capacity for accessing the unconscious part of your mind.

The trouble only comes if there is no positive direction to guide your imagination. If your mind is troubled by violent or fear-filled impressions, your imagination might add fuel to your anxiety by envisioning horrible scenarios."

The probability of both you and your sister having Neptune in the 12th are slim.

Anything unusual, including paranormal.

It might take awhile for something to surface from the subconscious.

Several things I recalled just now from reading your words when I was very young.

They were scary too.

With the last part, drug and alcohol abuse comes to mind.

To escape in order to find relief.

Why is it slim? We both have the same rising sign, and we are only 2 years apart, so Neptune didn't move very far. And I know our birth times straight form our birth certificates. So you only think one of us has it in the 12th? How would we know?

I go through that everyday but I haven't ever token drugs, and I don't really drink either. Don't like the taste of alcohol. 😬
