Instead of expressing love through romantic relationships? I love the idea of helping others. And I think I would feel more fulfilled doing that more so than being in a relationship. For example, helping the homeless or helping people who are in need.

My cousin works in that area and she has a Virgo Moon.

I think it can't replace relationships though, like relationship comes with its own challenges, helping is good, but its easy ...What I meant to say is one can't replace the other, the first comes more from intimacy and the second one more so from compassion... I've seen all kindsa helpers though, some help because it boosts their ego, I mean its good and it does make a difference, but it reeks out of them when they are helping you...

I don't think it replaces romantic relationships - they really are different - but a childhood friend of mine is a social worker, and she's a Virgo. I don't know the rest of her chart. Her job isn't easy, but she continues to try to help as much as she can.

My Mom has Moon in Virgo and she’s a nurse. She likes helping others and children. But she also has Mars in Cancer. I think I’d like being a social worker because I know I would be helping others. There is a lady in LA who feeds the homeless she’s an Aquarius Sun I love seeing her posts about how she’s helping and feeding so many homeless people. I had the opportunity of doing that once and it made me happy knowing that I was able to feed those people. I saw a video of a guy giving a homeless man a Massage for his birthday. I thought about how I could do that. I never thought about how I could volunteer as a Massage Therapist. It’s probably because I have Moon in the 6th house.

That sounds nice.

I used to want to do a lot more, too. I had to get real about how much I could personally do, but I still plan to try. At the moment, I'm trying to work out how I can make it to the dog pound, during the week (when they most need volunteers), and I'm thinking about trying art therapy for seniors - I saw a post in a local group, about volunteering with the seniors on Sunday afternoons. I need to be able to get my own stuff done, too, though.

Oh, I have a sixth house Sun.

Art Therapy for seniors is a great idea I love working with senior citizens I use to massage them while in school. I've always wanted to volunteer at my local humane society. I think it's the sixth house placements that make us enjoy helping others.

6th house is the natural Virgo house.
Also known as the House of Service,
it's the house associated with Volunteerism.

Teasel, among other things,
6th house rules animals, pets.

CofV-- Your Saturn in 11th House supports working with the elderly. *Perfect!*

Even if you were to only give foot or hand massages to those you meet, those are medicinal in nature...
as well as ANY Human Contact with another individual.

Relationships? ..
Sometimes *heart*, you can meet those kinds of people WHILE doing Good for Others. Wouldn't you love (eventually) being with someone who can put themselves in another person's shoes, to be of Service?

Those that are capable of having empathy and think of Others-- may treat YOU that way, from and 'with' their Heart, and Kindness.

Become 'friends'.. Solid friends.
That's the basis, the foundation, of a lasting relationship?
.. Sex appetites wax and wane during various portions of one's life.

But a Friend is someone 'there' for you--
in good times, AND not-so.

(music) That's What Friends are For (Elton John, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder, 2011) [5:11] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhu5-4W88hM

@mirage29 I have Saturn in the 4th house. But Saturn parallels my Moon and it makes a trine to my Mercury and ASC.

Moon/Venus in 11th/12th or 6th perhaps.
Moon/Venus in Aqu/Pisc or Virgo.
Moon/Venus in aspect to Jup/Ura or Nep.

I don’t know about Moon or Venus in the 11th I think it would depend on the sign.

Virgo is the helpy helperkins. Aquarius too.

Aquarius's help can seem impersonal though. They'll help anyone and everyone regardless of attachment or not. It's about their principles. Some may think the Aquarius is magically attached when they help, but, no, they go and do the same for strangers. Doesn't matter who you are, just about what they think is right.

Pisces can be helpful too, but in a more selfless "forget me, do it for them" kind of way.

Leo too, if they're the generous type, can translate as hyper helpful too.

Cancer's help is more parent-like/maternal. Like the parent that gives you some food and money and then dotes on you.

You have Venus in Pisces. What you are describing is a very Piscean way of thinking. I know people here are saying Virgo placements, and in a way yes, but there are big differences between Virgo help and Pisces help. Both signs are very helpful. But the reasons for doing so are different. Virgo placements help to feel useful, doing it mostly either out of guilt or a sense of duty or to prove their way is a better way. Pisces placements help because they want to and they feel awful when they see somebody going through some tough sh*t. Not to say one is better than the other, but for someone to truly enjoy helping people is a Pisces thing imo.

I never quite got the Virgoan way of helping though, but I've found it to be without any malice too, my friend mentions how I'd be useful to him if I complete this IT shjt, and I'm like "WTF! u think I'm here to be useful to you??"...but its like he really means it without looking at it in idk what way,..... but to me its rather flabbergasting, the concept of staying around to serve or be useful to someone , its like to Virgos it is almost normal, and I'm like "OMG WT Hell!!!!? .."

I agree the lady in LA who helps the homeless has Venus in Pisces. And she's an Aquarius Sun I think it's a mixture of both Aquarius and Pisces.
