Can actions taken during retrogrades be reversed? Ie during a Saturn transit to the moon one takes action to build emotional fortitude then during the retrograde, more specifically after or before the retrograde station can one change the progression of events contrary to the actions taken prior to and or during a retrograde?Or when the initial transit makes its aspect everything is set in stone and one can only wait out the transit with the outcome being decided by the actions taken prior to IP: Logged |

Depends on the action I figure(in your case), but as for me personally, whatever I do during retro. mercury period usually has to be reversed to make things "right" (usually includes buying electronic appliances.....like who the hell buys during retro. merc period right right? I have...and I will only to return it later...tsk tsk )IP: Logged |

i actually bought something before the retro but did end up giving it back so to speak years later after its 1st conjunction. thats the problem. im thinking something triggered the process of me having to return it. the transit is still going on so im trying to gauge the amount of karma that will have to be dealt with in order to get back in track.IP: Logged |

The first forward pass creates the event. ... The retrograde pass enables us to reflect upon the event/identify the problem, it's cause and a potential solution. ... The second forward pass see us implementing our potential solution, and receiving feedback from others upon whether/how it needs to be modified. If there is then a second retrograde pass, we have the opportunity to reflect again upon the problem; it's cause and our potential solution. ... And the third forward pass usually (but not always) produces feedback that confirms the validity/appropriateness of our potential solution. In practice though, the over-arching principle of using astrology as a mechanism for self-improvement is that "nothing is ever set in stone". [Note that the planet will always oppose transit Sun at some point in its retrograde pass(es). And the Sabian Symbol for the degree occupied by the transit planet at that time (opposite the Sun) will "give a key both to the basic meaning of the confrontation experienced and to its potential solution as well. Of course, the meaning of this or any other transiting planetary opposition will be the same for everyone. it is a general challenge to all humankind. However, it will affect each individual personally according to the planets' house positions at the time." (From Cycles of Becoming, by Alexander Ruperti.)] IP: Logged |

The "Law of Grace" may apply here ... (whereby becoming conscious/aware of our karma enables us to become observers of it, rather than participants). For example, a person's karma might create a behavioural trait of "buying things impulsively". ... And, that might lead to (say) him/her suffering abuse from debt collectors when a related Saturn transit occurs. ... However, if the person becomes aware of this karmic behavioural trait (and ceases to engage in it), that same transit might draw his/her attention to a news story about someone suffering abuse at the hands of a debt collector (as a result of impulse buying).
