What are the aspects in transit that could awaken spiritual gifts (seeing, hearing, feeling and / or dreaming about spirits, for example), interest in the occult ... Or else some aspect in transit that may indicate an obsession with religion?IP: Logged |

You're welcome. I know there were threads about this in the past. If you search site:linda-goodman.com at google, and add what you're looking for in quotes, you might find something. Someone I know is now extremely religious, which surprised me - when I knew him in the past, he was an atheist. I don't know if he was raised with religion, though. He used to disagree with my spiritual beliefs, and now we've switched places: I'm more skeptical, and he's gone much further than I did, and is now a "true believer". He had been in doubt, after surviving something serious - I guess he'd been depressed. I'm looking at transits, for around the time that he told me something happened, and the only thing I can see, is Neptune moving into his eighth house. It was applying towards a conjunction with his Jupiter. Neptune is also now exactly conjunct his Venus - I think that's what brought him back to believing again. Uranus was in his ninth house, moving towards his Mercury, too. I used to be more intuitive than I am now. When it comes to the "clairs" I was always claircognizant, if I could pick any of them. I just "knew" things, when I needed to. I think Neptune can add to the sensitivity, but Uranus can bring something, too. I hope someone else chimes in. IP: Logged |

Had a nonphysical/spiritual awakening when Neptune and Uranus were conjunct in Capricorn, conjoining my Sun, ruler of the chart. I also happened to live close by the ocean at the time. Like literally 1500 ft away from same. The ocean and going to it almost everyday, helped to keep me sane at a very chaotic, turbulent, and difficult time in my life (there is still a strong part of self that longs to live by the ocean again). Anyways, went from being a firm materialist extremely interested in and focused on science, and wanting to grow up to eventually become a geneticist, to getting downloads at night while laying in bed before sleep. These downloads dealt with concepts very foreign and out of the blue to my conscious mind at the time--such as everything is connected, there are other dimensions beyond the physical, there is a sort of archetypal masculine-feminine balance and polarization of energy in everything alive, and above all that big changes are coming to the world/humanity that will change everything. Soon after these downloads (which I now know/recognize as "guidance messages"), I started to become consciously interested in exploring such topics, which led to an interest in astrology, meditation, eastern philosophy, reading the world religions, etc. The above started when I was in middle school, but I kept some of my skepticism for awhile, and tried to be as "scientific" as I could be about these things. For example, I had noticed that I was rather sensitive to people looking at me. So in High School, I ran experiments where I would systematically stare at each student in the class and note if they became aware of the staring, and if they did, how long did it take. (Some clear patterns emerged--females were generally far more sensitive/aware, and looked back more often, than most males. However, the relative few males who did pick up on it, did so above average even compared to many of the females. One Scorpio Sun Lass that I had a crush on, was super sensitive to it, and almost always looked back within a handful of seconds). IP: Logged |

Chart ruler is often key, after things like the Asc, Sun, etc. If the Sign has two rulers, while I do look at both Planets, I pay more attention to the faster moving ruler more--because it's a more personal and thus more receptive/sensitive point in the chart. IP: Logged |
